Yes.. i didnt want to tell to se your toughts ,but this 12 oclock marker looks bit of to me, because of that io asked for more expereinced person to see maybe...

I had the same concern with my QC photos, one of them made the 12 maker look ever so slightly misaligned but in other photos it looked absolutely fine so I just chalked it up to the domed crystal + angle of the photo!

These look absolutely fine to me and I'd personally give it the GL!

That's a good looking watch. You're not going to find one any better. Of course, it's your money, your watch and ultimately your decision. Problem is that basing your purchase on others opinions may not be the best thing to do. Everyone has different opinions of what they consider acceptable. The best way to get the best watch is for you to become confident with your own decisions.

I just got my qc pics. Since its my first time byuing like this , can you help me maybe and see if its all good, if i can give green light? Grazie

This watch honestly can get tricky to QC. I'm more concerned of the 6 marker. Its up to you if you want to go ahead. Mine looks slightly more off on the 12

You’re not Meant to post pics for others to tell you if it’s ok to approve. Research the watch and it’s flaws and just check alignments

Never really agreed with that rule. (This is just my opinion not a challenge to the all powerful!!;-) relax!! This guy is about to spend $430 on something that members here are reading about as we are also interested in buying this watch, the reason being to find out specifically about this watch and it’s flaws. Some can see immediately this one isn’t right. I have been buying watches for years and normally don’t see glitches until it’s too late and if I don’t see them myself I wouldn’t know to ask about them!!

But who am I to challenge the rules. Personally I’m glad he made the ultimate sin (or mistake) on this occasion and saved himself the risk of wasting his hard earned cash though.

Like any rule, it’s not been put in place for no reason, there’s has been thought gone into it.

I, you and others have also bought their first watch here at a time. He’s not the only one, that’s why you read up do ya research and contribute. Without the rule you end up with a free for all (like reddit) where people just want the best example of their rep watch, know nothing about it and rely on others to tell them if it’s ok or not. Then you get all the different “experts” who’ve read something elsewhere, misunderstand it and then start telling other people why they shouldn’t accept their watch over flaws that are common to the model or just being unrealistically nit picky. Before you know it, everyone is rejecting good watches and the dealers are stuck with stock they can’t get rid of.

But You don’t have to know anything about watches to read a thread about one, or use your eyes to look at marker alignments.

Anyway saved yourself some money there, show us your approved watch when you receive it. I think You’ll Be impressed with how nice these high end reps are in real life. Not like the crap someone would pic up on holiday somewhere.

As a photographer/videographer I can suggest that all the discussions about colours not looking correct comes down to the white balance of the cameras not being set correctly. Some images look way too blue, which of course is going to alter the colour of the watch and nato strap. Some are too warm/yellow, which also affects the watch colours. This is some of the reason why the stripes on the nato look grey in some pictures and more green in other - camera white balance. You can see the white balance of the first YouTube video is a bit blue and the second video is more neutral - although it does fluctuate as they obviously have the camera on auto white balance, so it keeps changing. If you put Thrasher's image of the watch on a white background into Photoshop and neutralise the background back to white it removes some of the warm tones on the watch, but it doesn't change much - it still looks much like the gen seems to look. I think it will be fine.

This.

It is both Excruciatingly important to understand the white balance of the camera as well as the many times it has been made clear in this thread that the color seems to change depending on the light source. This is the color temperature of indoor lights and outdoor lights. (Kelvin). Remember, we are all getting these from the same factory, so if there is even one photo that looks like it has a brown hue (without filter), that is how ALL these watches will look in that light.

I think my 6 O Clock marker is off a little too but did not consider it worth rejecting, In the real world I won't notice it as much as those damn 12 O Clock markers they cant get straight and parallel and level. The 12 markers were an even bigger problem on the wave dial Diver 300

Yes it is the most annoying flaw to have. I had to go through a few QC nightmares with my TD. I bet SMP300 have the highest rejection rate after Rolex Subs
