I considered buying this watch from sead but the filters on the pictures he sent scared me off. Especially since my primary issue with this watch has been issues with the color.

I’ve asked this before but it’s been lost in the post, so is there a brown hue to the aluminium insert and dial as per gen?

There’s plenty of pics here with no filter.

I am curious about this image. Every aspect of this image seems to have a warm hue to it, even the gray of the table. It almost appears as though a warming filter has been applied, or at the very least that this was taken with some sort of orange-ish surrounding. It wouldn't surprise me if this was a TD reaction to the complaints about the watch not having a warm enough hue.

You make a good point. Perhaps it was an overreaction on my part as these watches come from the same manufacturer. I do not intend to bash sead as a dealer. It just set off the alarms in my head.

I wonder if Omega is selling the mesh bracelet directly, it may be worth the purchase. The rep looks pretty good. The crown guard and the crown itself seem a little off. But the thing looks pretty good.

A couple of us here have been on this. One of our members got direct confirmation from 2 separate boutiques that the band would go on sale eventually. When that’ll be, nobody knows. I’ll be on this once stores start to reopen.

Nothing untoward going on, sead is one of the best around.
I think It’s as simple as he leaves his phone filter on by accident.

As I said on *some* of my other watches (I like monochrome) I’ve noticed a filter on the pics. A warm hue does nothing for those types of watches, so it can simply be put down to a mistake, or a warm lit background. we all know the real colours here we have enough pics, so it wouldn’t work to apply filter on purpose. He wouldn’t anyway, I’ve dealt with him a lot he’s as honest as they come.

There are a couple of V2 videos at YouTube... See for yourself to see if it has that brown hue.

I'm finding it very hard to see the brown color in the first video however it seems very obvious in the second video. Maybe its related to the lighting used in the videos.

Lighting plays a big part in the brown hue showing. I've handled the gen and under the bright light of the boutique, the brown was popping. Once under shadow, it looked rather black. I believe the V2 got it right, or pretty close. I guess I'll know for sure once I've received it.

I have been using Sead at SuperMirrors since 2014 and have purchased well over 60 watches from him over the years. In my eyes he is the best most reliable dealer. Once you understand the benefits of working with Sead you will rarely go to anyone else Lagunax use him exclusively as well and can vouch for his QC and great prices. Building a relationship with one dealer over a period of time with multiple watch purchases yields great rewards. https://forum.replica-watch.info/forum/supermirrors http://supermirror1.com/ https://forum.replica-watch.info/forum/supermirrors/197027-my-email-address-is

Again, Im not bashing the dealer. I plan to make a purchase from sead in a few weeks if he still has the watch in stock. I was just pointing out the images had a filter or some sort of weird lighting.
