I honestly don't think it's as bad as some have made it out to be. Of course there's room for improvement, not surprising since this is a rush job. But for a rushed item, its not that bad. They got parts right such as the engraved metal bezel and indices. Domed crystal looks really good might i add. Other than to just make it all in titanium and improve the mesh, perhaps they can add more texture onto the dial as well and add a bit more brown that shows more under the light. All changes and improvements we'd hope to see in the next version. Overall for a rushed one, this isn't so bad.

IMHO it might have small mistakes but this is one of the cases that the small mistakes in the sum of them really have a big impact on the final result, for me the biggest turn off is the absence of brown and the kinda darker titanium color

Just got QC from mary. Very dissapointed. Lume smear all over the bezel. Misalignment of the dial. And the inaccurate bezel and dial color. So sad.

Maybe I'm just not a sophisticated QC'er but is this really a disaster? I mean it looks fine by the pictures you posted. It's never gonna be perfect.

Here's a picture of a gen. After looking at it, stainless steel aside, the rep really looks decent. Room for improvements, but it's not that bad.

Yes it was already mentioned and discussed a few pages back that the mesh on the rep is wrong. From the clasp to the metal weave to the material. It should also taper. Expecting a better mesh if they were to do another version soon.

How it ought to be....

Agree, the mesh is wrong too. The bracelet is the main attraction on this piece.
I will buy this watch if they can get the mesh bracelet right
But until they can get the bracelet right, no way I'd buy this.

This one in stainless steel is $428. Which is pretty expensive for what it is. (The same can be said for the gen actually)

Makes you wonder though, how much it'd be if they make a new version in titanium :thinking:

It is of my understanding that VSF=V6F
hence they do also the Pelagos, and aren’t out there PAMs made of Ti as well?

Having handled the gen, the dial and bezel looks almost black in normal lighting, but will pop into brown if under bright light...
