I just updated from V2 to V4.
I noticed the bezel insert on the V3/4 is much blacker than V2. Under Sunlight and the right angle the V2 was getting more into Coffee brown. While the effect on the V3/4 is much less. And the engraved markers and numbers on the V2 are more deeper than the V3/4.
Also the black painted texts in the caseback are more thicker in the V3/4. V2 looks even a bit better and less cheap like this.
can one of you Gen owners tell me which one os more accurate to the Gen? I never had the chance to see on in real yet....

Do you have a non-moven more clear foto? The v2 really looks better here, makes me doubt if i should pull the trigger on the v3.5/v4

So I bought this a few months ago, but recently sold it on...

The watch was a really nice piece, but a few niggles I had kept eating away at me and I stopped wearing it..

The strap mesh pattern was not close to gen and easily spottable, as was the NATO colour.. The bezel font was a bit heavy and not quite defined enough.. It didn't feel quality in hand, I think that is more down to the strap though.. There was play in the bezel too...

Colour was great, in different lights it really did loo great, lume was ok *with a touch of editting it passed on a gen forum

In all not a bad rep, but I was getting a bit finicky with it so moved it on..

Currently waiting on a Tudor GMT so we'll see how that stacks up when it arrives..

The bottom noone cares about. But the new top looks worse, for sure. Should have tried to make it more solid like the V3 Rep mesh on bottom.

Asdie from a bit thinner bezel numbera, v2 looks beter here indeed. But i think its only due to angle and lighting. V2 is a little bit more curved and v3/4 is direct in front of the camera. Just my opinion

Was that v2 v3 or what did you managed to post on a gen forum and wasnt blown? I kinda always tought that gen owners can call reps from a mile...

No arguments there. I agree with what you just said. They could've retained the smaller look of the endlinks from the top but reinforce the bottom side like how it is on the replica.

thanks. Haha . No offence sorry. Im new , exploring omega , and have to say vsf makes it spot on , and for untrained eye, its impossible to see the difference. That black one is very nice aswell mate. Really classy

And how do you know its a quartz from the photo ?

PROFESSIONAL

Its a quartz because it doesn't say CHRONOMETER on the dial. All the SMP models be it quartz or automatic will still say PROFESSIONAL on the dial.
