Thickness of bezel numbers, thickness of writing on face, red colour on face, hour markers, shapes on hands, pip at 12, engraving depth on caseback, writing on caseback and that cut out above the HE valve that a few people keep mentioning.

all of this inded. spot on, but have to say, your side by side comparison is quite great. if a pearson dont know aeactley what to look for, it wouldnt be noticable. ig i havent read all this, i would think v2 with upgradede bracelet is 99% spot on. just other material, not Ti.

Here you go—took the gen on a walk this morning and grabbed this pic in similar non-direct sunlight as the rep pic. Even though it does kinda look like it, no filters or effects have been added.

And here's your side-by-side comparison The rep doesn't look too bad.

and just as an 'new guy' , or outsider, and NON Bond franchise fan, you (we) should all be happy how watch quickly improved and got closer to a gen within a less than a year. within another year, it will look like submariner 904L noob, no way to tell a difference from photos.

Mine is perfectly aligned, that is why I asked above if the naiad lock as well was repped.
I think that if I unscrew and re-screw the caseback, it will no way come back perfectly aligned.
It' a rep...let's enjoy for what it is.

This is why it's important to find a watch maker/specialist who works on reps the way we find and place trust and value in a TD.

My caseback and everything about the my V3 on the surface was fine but somehow the watch itself stopped functioning properly, losing too much time, movement wouldn't wind etc. The whole watch was compromised. This was only after a few days of receiving the watch. It needed a new slide pinion, castle wheel, lubricants and ultimately a full service.

The guy I used (I live in London, UK. DM me if you want the details of the watch specialist. He knows and fixes everything to do with watches, gens and reps) did it all in 10 working days and the caseback is perfectly aligned.

They charged me £90. Well worth the money. I've tried various people in London and they all won't touch reps and Chinese movements but this small company does and have had years of experience working on and fixing them.

its so bloody hard to find watchmaker that will work on reps. i ask why is that. i mean, money is money, whats the difference if repairing unbranded watch, or rep omega, jesus, its not like ill call the cops on the guy after he fixes my bloddy watch!

Got a local guy to do a quick service to the watch today. Upon opening it up the guy confirmed that there are some janky things they did to the movement to make it work, including (but not limited to) screwing the entire movement in from the dial side, which makes it an affair if you want to have the thing regulated, some rather bizarre cutouts to lock the rotor in place, and a little machined collar to make the rotor work. He did however confirm that the "rotor noise" I thought I was hearing turned out to be just the sound of the rotor stopping against the gear train and was fairly normal.

Charged me $50 to pull it apart, adjust timing, and waterproof it. Nice deal! Had a good conversation with him about reps and gens and all that good stuff, and while he sort of maintained the whole "I'm not too stoked to work on this thing" attitude he was impressed with the quality and especially with the bracelet.

It's the V2 and even with the thinner numerals which I'm not bothered about and barely noticeable in the flesh tbh, it looks great!

Read the specifications. It says 316L SS case.
