Im a complete noob when it comes to rep watches i will be buying this watch when they do the titanium band im just waiting out for that
my question is i live in germany any members here bought one and had it shiped ( was there any proplems with customs ) or which dealer could supliy this watch and and have it shiped to Germany with no proplems ?? need some help on this guys

You will definitely need triangular shipping. Meaning the watch is shipped (generally) via the UK and then on to Germany. You will need to pay around 60$ extra shipping costs and wait ca. 4-5 weeks for your watch to arrive. Most trusted dealers offer this service e.g. Puretime or Perfect Clones.
Caveat: Don’t order a watch and have it shipped directly to Germany. Customs (Zoll) will be in touch with you if you do!

Yes its shorter, rounder and very closely knitted together. And since its titanium, so its the same dark tone as the titanium case.

Wow that looks different.

The mesh pictured on the right doesn’t look like a V3. The V3 mesh is more accurate to the gen. We need to keep hoping the V4 mesh will nail the design.

talked to a few TDs.
nobody expects to see a titanium mesh rep very soon due to the complexity the build exhibits

- this is no factory insider info though
- could very well be a promotional measure of TDs to sell v3

the portrayed rep mesh is the wrong one, the v3 looks better, shape-wise.

in this picture you can kind of see what’s different about the titanium mesh band in terms of tone. looks pretty dark in contrast to SS

This was my v3 bracelet. The quality is very good for a rep. The level I would expect on a £350 watch. Let’s be honest there are many guys on here expecting a 1/1 essentially gen titanium mesh bracelet for £100 or whatever! If the factories even made this level of mesh in titanium, im certain they would sell like crazy. I’d buy one, no problem, and if the rep mesh ends up being too expensive ....I’ll keep it on a nato.

It is the V3 mesh from VSF. Look at the V3 mesh around the upper part towards the endlink and you'll see the difference with the longer pattern. The mesh pattern isn't consistent on the V3. Around where the holes and clasp are, the pattern looks good like in the pic of the rep mesh from Danza.
Almost like the gen. But as it goes towards the endlink, thats where the pattern becomes different and becomes an obvious tell...

Here's the full pic of the V3 mesh I posted earlier without the crop. Got it from someone who posted it on the Facebook Omega group. He removed it after I called out on him that its a rep.

And the gen mesh, with a more consistent pattern throughout..

So can VSF do it? Yes I believe they can. Watch this space.

Just curious.. Probably out of topic... By which methods or how can Germany customs detect the rep watches? X-ray?

Plus the customs declaration. They will ask the recipient for the purchase invoice to get the true value paid for the goods. (Sending as a “Gift” will not work.) Initially they are after the import duty. Relatively low prices paid for high end watches don’t add up.

Keen to see it on the big screen as well! From the looks of it, it’ll be on Bond’s wrist for the majority of the movie (he wears an AT in the opening scene) and according to some people in the know, the watch plays a special part at some point :dribble:

Yup the AT he wore in Spectre makes a return in the opening scenes of the movie while Bond is "honeymooning" with Madeleine in Matera....

So I did a small mod to increase the tightness of my caseback.

I ordered a 37mm x 0.9 o ring gasket.

Greased then gasket with silicone grease and secured the caseback more tightly and knowing there is a waterproof seal between the edge of the caseback and the opening to the movement.

couldn't find the answer in the thread
  • does the movement have a keyless feature or has it one dead crown position?

Once unscrewed, 1st position of the crown winds the movement, 2nd position does nothing as it has no date and the 3rd hacks the seconds hand and sets the time.

thought so, saw a picture of the crown unscrewed, which suggested the more diverse transmission ratio. gen doesn't have position 2
