I have been anticipating a Rep of this watch since they announced the real deal with the new film. I knew before they even announced the price that it was going to be well out of my range. I'm a huge Bond fan, especially Craig; and will likely pick up a Spectre as well now that I know VSF produces an amazing product.
This is my first high end replica purchase, all of my other watches are either DH gate or genuine less expensive time pieces (Seiko, Luminox, G Shock, Suunto, Vostok, etc).
Ordered mine from Trusty Time on April 12th, Andrew sent QC photos immediately, I had to RL the first watch due to the bezel alignment and the 12 o clock markers not lining up properly. Had another set of QC photos ready to go a couple of days later, gave it the green light, watch was shipped another few days after with 4px, which went "Ok". Received the watch in the middle of Canada on May 21st.
Andrew was superb to deal with, zero complaints, answered my questions, respected my RL as I had marked down and explained what was off about the QC photos. Can't wait to deal with him again.
I'm happy with 95% of everything on this watch. After all the concerns from current owners, my only complaints are of course, the mesh bracelet is just a cheap mesh with an Omega logo on it. These are literally $10 on ebay. And the Nato strap is also lacking in its appearance when compared to the gen. I can safely say I will purchase a genuine NATO if I can find one for that extra mile of 1:1 Rep.
I am patiently waiting for the Titanium milanese mesh bracelet to become available and am hoping I can get it before September as I'd love to wear it for my wedding. I have all sorts of photos available and will be posting them as time goes on.

Hi, for the members that have purchased this watch how many of you green lit on first QC pics and if you have asked for another watch what sort of issues did you RL them for? just curious as were up to V3 now and possibly waiting for the titanium strap. Cheers.
I keep getting QC pics with the bezel inlay out of alignment with the scalloping. I am beginning to wonder if I just take a misaligned one and try to get the insert redone myself but I’ll keep trying for the moment. It seems like bad luck, I see a lot of nicely aligned bezels on here.

Yeah there seems to be some very nice pieces in members hands, thats whats got me interested in what common issues there might be with this watch, ive seen a few issues listed with the bezel and case backs been loose, viewing some of the QC pics that get posted its hard to tell on some about the inlay with the reflection off the domed crystal or if there has been production issue on a run of them.
is the crystal on the vsf v3 plastic? Apparently gen is sapphire but this doesn't feel like sapphire. Great watch regardless
Interesting.. the v3 spec is sapphire (with some AR).. would hope this was the case.

Speaking of the crystal, I really like how its tall, domed and creates a distortion effect on the details of the dial...
I was wrong. When I asked the question it was hot out so that confused me. Just compared to another sapphire and the material is identical. Agreed the dome shape is awesome.
I think so. Quite clever really. You don’t need to employ a QC checking team, the customer either accepts it or flags up to you the issues wrong with it so you can fix them. (I know TD and the factory are separate)

Bit the bullet and ordered.. when they bring out a better mesh I'll get that, but by the looks of it the v3 watch is pretty good...

I wait v3. Anyone can tell me, v3 bezel numbers very close to bezel edge? Looks like very close. Gen numers have more space between edge and numbers(

I very much doubt it, it will be just offered to the next buyer in the queue until someone accepts it.
