That’s an expensive Pepsi insert by Noob, 200 dollars more than their LN and Batman. Am I missing something?

Gen dw
Gen hands
Djf dial
New markers
Custom white gold frame around date window

Great work on the date window frame bro. Next level stuff!

Some more pics. Noob will probably come out with this now that I custom built one, haha. Love the DJF dial though. And the timebomb's been defused, take that Noob! Bracelet is ARF GMT LN.

+1 I would too. If noob ever comes out with their Pepsi with the VRF movement, like it's looking they will in the medium term, I'm going to be very tempted to buy a DJF dial and an ARF bracelet and try to swap them on to the Noob.

I don't know if there is a difference in the size of the diameter of the hole in the dial where the cannon pinion sticks through, but if they're reasonably close and the result isn't noticeable to the eye so that you can use the VR movement with the DJF dial that would be a dope way to get a solid meteorite dial pepsi rep.

The other potential issue with using an ETA dial on a 31xx movement is sometimes the date window can be a little off. The rep 3135/3185 movements use a datewheel that has a silver (unfinished) outer perimeter. This can show through an ETA dial date window. Using a gen or some aftermarket gen-spec datewheels can eliminate this issue because there is no unfinished perimeter - it's completely white. Still, you could end up with a slightly left justified date as you can see in the example pic below of an ETA dial on a VR3185.

Thanks for the heads up on this potential issue. Still, even in the example photo you give, it seems pretty okay, to my eye. The left-justification, that is - not the datewheel coloring. Maybe under a cyclops it is more noticeable?

Plus our eyes forgive a little offset if there's a different color border present which there wouldn't be with an all white DW

This Pepsi 126719 with a meteorite dial is now at the top of my "next must have" watch list. I hope and pray that NOOB (or somebody!!) releases a quality version with a decent movement that I can source a meteorite dial for........

Doesn't look that bad, but man, 658$ for a piece of trash movement? Are they making fun of us? It's just 30$ cheaper than a noob daytona... DUDE wtf

They know that people will buy our watch despite of the movement flaws

I hear you (hasn’t stopped us from buying it though LOL) but you have to account for Pepsi popularity and the fact that quite a few buyers care about the outside package rather than what is inside. Andrew (Trusty) told me this model sells like hot cakes in rep markets around the globe. People in mainland China want a Pepsi, some people never wind their watches but still want this on their wrist. Noob is riding this demand wave by the strength of their insert. And they very well know there is no competition. If/when competition arrives, they will put a VR inside like what they did on the 116710.

Yeah, i can understand that, this is what lack of competition creates. Hopefully ARF / VRF come and make a better watch with a better movement for 200$ less lol.

(well, not really ARF, since they took 1 year just to make a batman insert, lazy asses)
