I also gave up on AD's after overhearing my AD's new sales policy after Sep 1. Whenever they get a sports model in, they call previous Rolex customers and offer them the new stock. He said they usually sell out in a couple hours. Implicit in that policy is the requirement to buy one of their unsold dogs in the case if you want anything good next time around.

IDK of any Rolex precious metal rep that weighs a gram over its SS counterpart. I gave up on that aspect. ... it doesn't diminish my own enjoyment of them.

The blue dial 126719s are available from Noob, GMF, DJF and I think EWF too.

I bought a GMF, knowing I was going to mod it. The new Noob blue dial looks good except for the movement. You can buy two watches to make one (new Noob Batman with VR3185 and swap in the Pepsi insert, need a red hand) or wait for the inevitable defeat of the Noob timebomb when CF or ARF releases a contender insert.

Modding and/or buying two to make one doesn't appeal to me. I'll wait for the right one if it ever comes, plenty other nice reps that we can get two of and not need to mod to get only one decent one. Noob knows this.. I'm sure it won't be long until they sell all the crap movements..

The DJF dials are really nice. It appears they are all different - every one I've seen is unique, unlike the really bad BP/GMF dials. These pics don't come close to showing the true brilliance - they are like looking at a pave dial in the sunlight. There will be plenty more pics when I get these two samples built.

It looks to me like these were made by using two color layers - metallic white and brilliant silver. Then an etching tool or tools were used to scar the dial in random widths, lengths, depths, and thicknesses. This leaves some scarring in silver, some in white, some mixed, etc. Then the black printing was added. It's an incredible effect that very much resembles the gen dial.

The only thing missing is the white gold rim around the date window.

Wow. These look really nice in general and they look decent compared to what I've seen of the gen dial.

This has become my favorite dial and wanted to do a build but figured it would be way to expensive as I've seen this gen dial go for 7 or 9 grand.

I've seen good aftermarket ones for about $1k.

But these are looking very decent. Not to mention as you stated, pics don't do them justice.

I still like noob insert better.... But of course 18 transition could be fixed....

Worked on the gold frame, rhodium plated made the walls thinner and polished it out.

I think it looks much better. With gen crystal it will be very nice, oh and tested it on 3186 works much better than 3135 actually.
