It's a great watch, so the only issues you're likely to find are assembly problems. Just look for things like misaligned markers on the dial, scratches, date window alignment, and you can make the call yourself. It's better that way.

OK, that is reasonable.
Anyway, just for the information – the price (including shipping) was $343, but I paid with my VISA card $354.08.

Different strap? I think there's a choice of croc and leather.

I'm sure this gentleman bought the IWC with regular rep leather as it states on puretime's website that the price is $328 and &378 with real croc leather. Even with the rep leather band I still think there's a big difference in price, being the same watch from both TD's.

I specifically ask the TD if it was the same exact watch (v2) as in PT's website and he said it was. Right now awaiting for QC pics.

Yeah, that's right. And I paid additional $40 for shipping via airmail through UK. That's the price if you buy something for the first time ;-)
I already received QC.

Received mine on Saturday from PT, and can't help but notice that the dial is slightly tilted to the left axis...
Not sure if I should email them back for a replacement....

The first QC set of pics sent to me also had this problem, and they sent me a second set of pics 2 days later, and I thought they fixed it...

It could be the gen that they were using to make this rep 1:1 had that problem?

See my attached photo: notice the 3 and 6 position is slightly tilted left and upwards

Just to update this thread- Angus has sharpened his pencil with the price- it's now $298 not $328.

However, I have the same problem with mine @ the QC stage too. It's also running 11 seconds fast with a Beat Error of 0.7 ms.

I've sent Jennifer @ PT an email with this pic attached to hopefully get it either regulated and dial rotated a smidgen right or a different watch. Mine's quite obvious even without me putting red lines there. The photo of the watch has been taken square on.

Jesus that's quite the jump in price, I was wondering whether Angus would come down, or the others go up in price, looks like the latter...bit too much of a gap earlier.

I wonder how these are selling? great watch no doubt but not a tremendous amount of feedback/reviews/pictorials across the fora so far?

So I just posted a wristie, and I'm going to show here it again... just picked up my piece from USPS ordered from trusty ( first time ordering from him and wow what a great service, too bad he is not a TD around here cartel and all) but aside from that fact, It was the best price for the piece @ $258 for the v2 2892 version. The watch winds SOLID!! and the date is aligned almost perfectly in the window date. It's my first IWC and so far one of the best reps on my box... :)

Looks solid, but I am not sure how to operate with the crown.

Did any of you mark xvi owners ever compare yours to a genuine watch?

I examined a geniune today in person and it looks way better than I that it would look from these pictures. But my question is does the replica look the same?
