Well said!! I would say a US$300 watch from Noob or H Fact is of better quality, has better movement compared to most gens at this price range.

mine is 7. but the watch is really too thick. I can not use for my daily desk diving.

Can the maker update the case back to be gen like? As of right now it looks laser etched with no depth to it.

All comments on Angus side are talking about the same and asking for the same!!! I hope Angus will put that into his consideration. Would be a pity if this obviously flaw would dilute the success of this beautiful watch.

And this is because you have glass wrists?.... I think the actual dial, crown, bezel and lume are a little more important than the case back...

I could be in the minority though...

I'm with Angus on this one. I'm more concerned with what the top looks like vs. the not as deep engravings on the case back. Plus its closed so there really isn't all that big of a deal for me. I get the whole picture but if they got something wrong I'd rather it be on the back.

Anyone saying that the case back doesn't matter is doing all of us a disservice. While I agree, if a watch has a flaw I would prefer it be on the back does not relieve responsibility for the manufacturer to skip on accuracy. I really dont feel it is not too much to ask for. Rolex guys on this forum can agree as they have some of the most discerning eyes.

If you think about it, dismissing an inaccurate case back or any other detail for that matter on a watch that is stated a 1:1 is hurting our hobby. It dilutes the meaning of 1:1 and only gives reason for makers to produce more versions in which, everyone will buy to get the next small change. These people aren't fools.

Will I buy this watch and be happy with it? Damn right, but I don't apologize for requesting a nicer case back.
