Wow, huge step down from vsf. Look at the finish, sel fit, lug shape, idk maybe I'm wrong but it looks bad.

The only major glaring flaws I see with this watch are the lugs and crown guards. Lugs are a bit fat and also the crown guards on the rep look thicker.

Flush fit/recess may be improved.. but sorry, still dire. I refer to the height of the midlink and it's soft edge.

I have to say that overall the VSF 116610 are built a little bit better as they are more recessed than the 126's.

Could you also explain what did you mean by soft edge please? I quite new to the game and Its the first time I came across that terminology.

Go look at some gen SEL, pay attention to the step on each edge of the middle link. I’ll put up a pic later.

Compare the middle links of the SEL.. the black one is gen like with a nice height and sharp defined step, the green one is shallow and smooth, almost not even there..

All VSF 126610 are like the green one.

You are right about midlinks but is this black sub old 40 mm model? I think sel is different on 41mm , it is almost flush and with slight recess at the end of the sels

Yes this is a 40mm (black) I pictured to show the defined edges of how a Submariner 40 or 41mm SEL midlink should be in appearance.
