And the numeral 3! ;)

12 of them!? OMG, did you keep breaking them? Haha, j/k. The man knows his JFs! :drinks_cheers:

Nope! :) i’m in love with this watch, but unfortunally my wrist isn’t big and 39mm without date seems really big on my wrist and all times i sell them after i had receive from dealer , and after a few months i buy one of this again :)

About SH people tell that are instable but personally i haven’t any problem with all 12 SH on this, except autowind module that sometimes on a few fail (need to replace red autowind module wheels and will fine then)

LOL, hilarious bro! But I know, I keep buying 16570's and then changing them into something else. Luckily with reps we can change our minds often!

You got a "combination model". When the Exp I first increased to 39mm it had short hands. But it also had solid (non-lumed) 3-6-9 numerals. In Basel 2016, the current model was introduced with the two significant changes being longer hands and lumed numerals. At the very least the TD should owe you a set of hands, though you did OK the QC so all you can do is ask.

https://monochrome-watches.com/role...s-new-indexes-2016-edition-live-photos-price/

Yeah, that appears to be my only avenue forward. Getting hands and having a modder swap them. Lesson learned for quickly glancing over QC images. Having been so lucky with so many other purchases I got laxed when reviewing.

Thanks for the input.

U can't take a bad sample as all JF explorer Wtaches. IMHO however just the angle picture of 10/15 minutes index about your think on turning the dial clockwise, if you turn the dial it will be perfectly centered as all others JF. And again, facts no just red circled picture. I've own 12 JF explorer in the past and all except one have the reahut perfectly centered. The fault one just need to turn the dial/movement a bit.

This for example was one of mine. Perfect characters, not too high as you said but perfectly in the middle.

And I have one of yours 12 :) and I can confirm that to me is near perfect and gorgeous. Need just a dial and I'm looking to find a gen one so the problem will be definitely solved!

For the reliability of the SH: I changed the two wheels in the autowind module with gen and is running without issue with great power reserve. It keeps perfect timing, better than my gen 2824-2 and I'll do a service only when really needed!

I'm currently looking into getting an Explorer I and was looking at this new 904 steel one. It certainly is quite more expensive than the 316. Not worth it just for the steel but I thought there are other improvements.

From this thread, it seems to me that the BP is the more reasonable choice. Especially with the 2428 movement. Just to check is BP the same as Noob on PureTime since I cannot see BP?

They are not the same, coming from different factories. They use the same movement but the dials and rehaut are different. Look at BP on Intime if PureTime is not showing it. Any TD can get pretty much any rep. Send PureTime the Intime link if you want PureTime to get you the BP.

BTW the BP is still being offered by TDs in the 316L version for $298. Personally I wouldn't pay the extra for 904L when it doesn't look or perform any differently. Putting that money toward a gen Swiss ETA makes a lot more sense to me.

Guess which watch is up for wear today?

VEs2ns.jpg

Is this the BP rolex explorer? It looks to me like the spacing between the minute markers and the 3 and 9 are different, or does it simply look so due to the angle of the picture?

Yes it's BP, yes it's the angle.

Feedback is to read the qc rules. You need to ask a specific question

Shouldn't the spacing between the 12 o'clock and the triangle be slightly larger? It seems like the triangle is now touching the minute markers.
