Newest update! For those who got a quote for that so call 1:1 movement from me before. As the official release of the factory today, they dropped the price more then half! Maybe they finally realise their first offer was too unreal high.

if you want a fully modded watch (thread Ctime) + this movement you are out around $4,000. For this you can get a decent mid-level gen... and you dont even have ANY genuine part on this watch.

No mate, not even close to it, I have my business on other areas…

Just as a gen collector, as well as a rep appreciator, you see 2k as a lot of money for this? In relative terms of course.

As a gen collector and aficionado I don’t think the gen movement would cost +2k if PP has to buy it… I honestly don’t think that whole thing in SS costs more than 4 or 5k to PP. Then the rest is all branding, advertising, events, cachets, etc… so yes, for me 2k is a lot of money for this rep clone movt

Your point is fair but you have to add a lot of cost in the chain before telling me to be an investor in a project 10.000km away from us mate.

Only relation I have here is I have bought a 5711 from AC and a 5712 now, not with this movement, but to have a free spung balance in a rep I think it is a huge step.

Funny thing is I did not haha.

I was talking this afternoon with AC I’m happy with the standard movement, but for me it is not bad to have new offerings in this market.

GUY!! UPDATE AGAIN! first I must apologise I quoted price for this so call 1:1 movement to a few member at different time. And some of you got a wrong price quote from me. Sorry i mess up some of the conversation with the factory. Lets get this clear for all!
The memeber who got quoted for around 2k is the CORRECT price. The ones who got quoted for 4k was INCORRECT!
Please refer to around 2k for this movement alone!

Yes ! So like i have replied to another member on this thread, I do not recommend to get my full build with this 1:1 movement. The movement alone cost more then the build itself.
Price of the movement is not price tag by me , I have nothing to do with the making of this 1:1 movement. Thats the amount the factory ask for. So please dont mistaken its me that is charging so high.

For the AC engraving stock movement , the engraving size should be correct. Since there are different engraving size and font even logo on gen cal240.
