I love your jobMe and my private moder have worked with a few factories trying to make the best 5712 as possible. After a lot of testing , we have came up with a new pinon modification technique and a beautiful movement engraving.
As we have seen there are other parts of the watch other then the dial that needs a upgrade.
One of the biggest tell we see is the pinon. On the market there are 2 ways of pinon upgrade, such as the pinon cap cover and a steel ball mod. Both of these actually glued a cover on top of the stock pinon to make it looks closer. BUT they look too big ,and the height is too high . This flaw is an instant tell its fake .
Me and my moder have came up with a true Gen spec pinon mod, that we actually replace all 3 pinon. Custom made that the size and the height perfect.
On GEN , you can see the inner circle of the minute hand, the pinon is small and only filling the hole of the hour hand. Compare to the cap modification is big and cover the whole hole.
For subdial hands , GEN pinon should also have a silver ring surround the pinon.
Color of pinon, many have said it should be one silver two gold, BUT year 2021-2023 GEN updated to all 3 silver pinon

Alot of time when we get engraved movements the printing are smudge and the gold plating runs out of the letter. By this non perfect engraving, IMO it looks even more fake then stock non engraved. After a lot of testing, we have finally came to a result. Below are comparison picture of AC , BUFF and others

Correct. Very different. Although I am tempted to dump the one I am getting and buy yours since I can't unsee what you wrote in the first post especially about the pinion caps. RWI is the best diet plan for my wallet.
Is the PPF „engraving“ really just a print on the plates? I thought it was a shallow laser engraving. You guys rub it off with alcohol or aceton that easy? Because I don’t think you also redo the Cote de Geneve?!

If saying if it’s a real print or lasered is all it takes to know your „business secret“, I kindly note it’s not that robust of a business model.
I just haven’t had a PPF until now but I order one & will know that „secret“ 2 minutes later
And no offense but my post was not interest because as others have pointed out the engravings are not really an improvement. My post was just surprise that it’s really obviously only printed because you also obviously did not reapply a new cote de geneve, which would have been needed if you had to mechanically remove the print.

This community is about members who are putting in effort to bring better stuff to our hobby.
Obviously you’re about making money and not about the hobby. Just look at your answer if it’s printed or not. Nobody asked you to lay down your „process“.

Stock PPF plates are either engraved (v1, not clone movement) or printed (v2, clone movement). This is probably the best engraving available on the market. If OP has done the work to either get a factory to build this or even make something available to other hobbyists on the forum, he’s done more than you bringing windy chat to this thread and being rude. You’ve been here for 2 months, relax.

I post that a long time ago in the ppf v2 thread.
It was first introduced as a completely new 1:1 movement which the factory quote a very high price, i have requested info for a few members before.
My opinion is that other then the balance wheel , the rest of the engraving is very close to mine.
But the first price quote for these movement alone with real gold 22k rotor is more then double expensive then my full mod build.
And even it got a gen looking balance wheel, you can still obviously tell the difference between gen and this. So unless you get gen dial and hands together , Other wise whats the point to spend that money , Any professional can still tell its a rep. If you just want to by pass most people or on wrist level , then IMO get a full mod and call it a day.
Last , yes I can source this movement if anyone is interested. This factory is selling the whole movement ONLY. So please dont ask me for plates only.
