I‘m just thinking, if the CF Datejust Xtal is as good as or even better than VSF Xtal, there is absolute no reason to still pick VSF. VR Movement is not bad, and the rest like bezel, rehaut, braclet is better on CF anyways.

I don’t think you saw vsf new batch.
Beside reahut cf is not better. Bracelet just as good. Clasp feels more gen on vsf.
bezel is literally the Same. Both need plating anyway.

v1 hands. If you look at the high res version of the pic you will see the metal tip of minute hand is clearly shorter than the metal tip of the hour hand. Tips should be at least the same length or maybe even a little longer on the minute hand if you have v2 hands.

Now I see it guys.. looking at the latest QC for CF datejusts, most of them still have v1 hands. Seems they are using their old hands stock before installing the new ones

very irritating. in the comparison photo with the GEN, neither the posted silver nor the blue watch has been juxtaposed. maybe i misunderstood something.

Mine? I think not! Posting a reddit link makes it just more confusing. Person 1 is posting a silver dial DJ. Then person 2 is posting a blue dial DJ. Then the question about the hands comes up. Next is a comparison picture, in which neither the silver dial nor the blue dial is compared to the blue gen watch. What is the point of comparing any watches with each other? that helps the questioner relatively little in relation to his watch.

What do you mean? This thread is regarding Cleans Datejust.

Obviously people discuss about parts and their development over the versions (f.e. Bezel, Crystal, Hands etc). So I dont get your point.

new CF Crystal is great and almost installed on all now available watches. V2 Hand is still rare.

I don't know how to explain it better than I already did....

I summarized page 138 focusing on the v1/v2 hands question. And again... then a comparison was posted which does not include the previously shared pictures/watches (easy to tell by the minute hand position). How does that help rolexsub1 (to be specific about the questioner)!?!?

But maybe I just too naively believed that the further comments want to help the questioner and it's just generally goes on about the topic CF DJ....

Anyway... all cool. Too much effort for a little misunderstanding. Keep going!
