Do you have any good comparison pics or links to share? I dont doubt you my friend. Just curious as I never heard anyone in the REP game ever saying they found an identical crystal like gen. Would be nice to see for all of us I think

Interesting fact I wanted to share with you, was just chatting with Li/Jtime.

he confirmed that CF is using for his Datejusts also the new Crystals. Also he stated that he thinks VSF Xtal is still a bit better, but this might be personal and commercial reasons

I‘m just thinking, if the CF Datejust Xtal is as good as or even better than VSF Xtal, there is absolute no reason to still pick VSF. VR Movement is not bad, and the rest like bezel, rehaut, braclet is better on CF anyways.

the cyclops on genuine maybe have 10% more AR than clean, other than that, window zoom and shape is the same, numbers looks the same , cyclops shape and size are the same and have that glue around for even more genlike look and shape

What if I wanted the smooth bezel? Do you think I'll get all the new features or it would probably be an old stock? I don't know how procurement process TD-maker really works...

Before you order a watch, you can allways ask the TD about the version, or ask him to send QC of the same watch someone ordered just before.

smooth bezel will probably also have the V2 crystal.

Bummer. Did a quick search. Clean DJ41 smooth bezel blue dial doesn´t seem to be available on TD´s sites... I really liked the blue with the smooth bezel.
No problem though, I like silver and rhodium with fluted bezel! Any experience with the silver dial? Chazingtime has some pics with the same watch but apparently different hues...

There is no clean Datejust with smooth bezel. Only fluted.
Get VSF then

Hello ladies and gents,

I have been lurking in these forums for a while now. Lately, I have been obsessed with DJ41 Silver dial, after seeing all the posts and doing research I am forever grateful for all the information and knowledge shared here. The watch has been GL-ed, I have only been thinking about glue around the cyclops as a slight imperfection, anyhow, it seems to me that it is almost unnoticeable on lighter tone dials such as Silver. My other worry is the servicing, as it seems that 3235 has reliability issues and is relatively complicated to service, at least that's what watch smith I have inquired with says. The plan is to wear it on jubilee during summer and on olive green, suede gray, and browns during cold weather.

Clean Factory, with “monkey” sticker on the back. Hopefully, it will arrive in month or so, at least thats how long it took for the last order 2 years ago. Ill arrange the leather straps in the meantime, will post photos once its here.
