Yes,
I haven’t seen latest crystal in person but as far as I see the pictures here, I don’t think it’s improved enough yet.
Other than that latest crystal looks great, especially distortionless cyclops.

Index bar can be seen in Gen and VSF beveled edge of crystal and it is as important to me as distortion of cyclops

Also take in mind that people mentioning here like prof crystal is superior than cleans but profs crystal is too much clear around crystal, gen is more milky than prof

Looking at the newsest Clean Xtals, they are equal as good as VSF.

I agree with you half way bro. Clean has the best shape and less cyclops distortion to date yes but VSF still have a nice AR/black hole effect on cyclops which many attach values too that Clean has not yet mastered in any of their Rolex models.

Both has pros. and cons and they are great OOTB and might fool a gen owner but if this is your grail watch and a you're a hardcore DJ41 fanboy you should get a gen crystal installed, period.

Both have superb DW font so I would call that a tie.

You havent seen newer clean in real life bro that means the black hole is also improoved believe me, it is almost like gen, so if i have too choose i choose clean over vsf because vsf cyclops distortion of the window edges are eww.. will post once i get home

Haha bro it took a month for me to get the prof crystal istalled so it was impossible to get identical ligtning but I think the comparison is fair but please show me different if you can. You have the latest Clean crystal so show me its great black hole effect

last picture will be window distortion, no angles just direct photo, the window gets crazy distortions on the edges
and take a look of the window inside, very bad and not genlike

CF crystal last batch is identical to gen. I compared it with my franken. IDENTICAL!

Because of milky ring bro but ill stick with clean… if i ever change it will be gen my brother, nothing else
but for the reps clean ofcourse, but at least have to be cyclops like this sample, simply crazy looking

I have at least 10 gen crystals with cyclops mounted on franken and gen. None of them have an accentuated black hole like prof.

My bro, there is nothing strict in rep world, no sticker will guarantie the exact crystal or cyclops, it is just the matter of luck, because they mix parts new with old

Do you have any good comparison pics or links to share? I dont doubt you my friend. Just curious as I never heard anyone in the REP game ever saying they found an identical crystal like gen. Would be nice to see for all of us I think
