So both is possible?
What' s the difference between 116200 and 116234?

Sent from the RWI App

i just walked into a Rolex AD and non of their 1162xx series have AR-ed cyclops (i.e. 116200 116233 116234 116231)

116200 = steel smooth bezel
116231 = rose gold two tone
116233 = yellow gold two tone
116234 = white gold fluted bezel

As for ones with AR-ed cyclops, I guess it may have been swapped out? I have no idea either

yeaaa that one clearly has AR
i wonder if it is because the watch went for RSC servicing and therefore the crystal was swapped with common AR crystals (which Rolex predominantly supplies these days)

What are the main differences between the gen crystal and the ARF one?

Is anyone swapping to gen crown and stem? I’ve read from a few people that the stem in particular should be changed out? If so, what size crown is it? 6mm?

My DJ is on its way, and I have a gen Dial and roulette dw on the way, and just trying to consolidate all the parts before I send it out

I happen to have a TC V7x crystal, should I install it or keep stock ARF? I can't imagine the ARF being better than the latest tc crystal and I don't know if I should buy a genuine crystal...

People recommending the 3135 be serviced straight away.. Is this so that it keeps time more accurately or so that it won't break after 1-2 years??
Thanks

Either or both. They've been assembled in a Chinese sweatshop so you don't know what condition they will arrive in. Remember these are copies they are just made to look like the real thing, under the hood they are put together by, well, put it this way, they ain't master orologists.

That's why I always recommend to send any specialist movement for service and any eta for a straight swap with Swiss. No matter what people say the Asian movements aren't up to the Swiss simple as that.

So with this particular watch could we drop something more reliable in? Direct swap?

Not really, not without new hands, date wheel etc.

Best bet is just get it serviced.
