That tapestry dial that you want is a vintage model, a 5 digit DJ. So in order to make that watch you need to make it off an older watch base.

Guys but the gen dateweel has the red/black numbers or total black?
My mothers datejust 36 gen has red/black numbers.
I know that there are a lot of version about this model but i don’t know which is correct in this case.

Yes even black uneven red.
Older Rolex models it's the other way around even red uneven black.

Wow that light really shows the sunburst dial which looked flat in a lot of pics... I'd be grabbing that with both hands mate!

I'm so getting one of these today!!!

Yeah this is an issue on all ARF 36 unfortunately

At my eyes, also the ROLEX writing is off for me. Not perpendicular to the "OYSTER PERPETUAL"... seems to go uphill

Hope ARF soon releases one with the A2484. Movement won't need an OOTB service and that date font looks good stock.

don't worry, i have seen gens like that as well - it is within Rolex tolerance IMO
