This watch looks great, hope they offer it in a different movement soon.
What is the most reliable one? 2836-2? or where can I buy a more reliable movement that can be swapped in with ease?
How water resistant are these watches, can they handle rain in the least if avoiding it isn't possible?

The movement is reliable! I’ve had man Yuki
Movements and haven’t had any issues. Instead of buying a new movement. Spend 125 dollar and get it serviced. It accepts gen parts and functions as gen. Why have a beautiful watch and have the hands move in different directions. There are plenty of issues with Asian eta also. If u have bad luck with a rep you have bad luck. It’s gonna happen eventually and it could be anything.

If you have a local Smith that can work on a Rolex 3135 then he can. I prefer @Tickleshoes He knows the movements inside and out. He can put one together with his eyes closed. Also he can put a few gen part in there to make it run even more stable.

Some consideration: in pics you can’t notice big differences between stock and real white gold.
Actually I have to say that ARF bezel is made so good IMO.
On eyes I can notice some differences like light shining/reflection
