New AR+ Factory GMTs

My dealer confirmed AR+ Factory and ARF are not the same. Take that for what it’s worth.
I've chased my order, apparently covid lockdowns in the area have slowed production.
Yes all these different gmts share many if not all in some cases, of the same parts.
I did mention it a few comments back. It’s the same insert as clean. Pretty much every factory that makes a BLRO uses the clean insert now. Which makes none of them worth buying lol
From everything I've read, it seems like AR+ is the best possible bang for the buck. It uses the same Y23L case as Clean V2; which means it has the angled CGs that C+ does not have and per Kenny has a superior crystal to both. Only downside is the bolder DW font; but Clean seems too thin compared to gen anyway.
Other question maybe for @kennygconspiracy is whether the cyclops distorts the date (similar to the VSF crystal)?

What? It's basically a clean but the datewheel sucks but you think it's the one to buy? I seen zero mention of it having a superior crystal

Hello guys, what would you say is the best choice between a CLEAN GMT MASTER II 126720 VTNR DD3285 for 608$ or a AR+F GMT MASTER II 126720 VTNR VR 3285 for 548$? I'm looking for the best looking clone as well as the best movement out there? Thank you!

DD3285 is the better movement. Many if not most of the other parts are sourced from the same parts factories so definitely worth the extra $60 for the DD movement.

If you look at the VR/SH3285 parts quality next to the DD3285, it's very easy to see which is superior.
Ctime 3285 comparison GEN/DD/SH
The VR/SH is known to more frequently have setting lever breakage issues, though it can happen with a DD as well. The taller post on the right just snaps off.
So you have to pick your risk. You could also keep the CLEAN crystal and just change the DW to any better 3235/85 one (they are the same), like a different CLEAN model or VSF, etc.

Today I have received the time graph of my new AR+F leftie and it has a measurement of -9s/day. It’s not a lot but I bet the DD movement would have been a little more sharper…If you look at the VR/SH3285 parts quality next to the DD3285, it's very easy to see which is superior.
