gen green FYIDamn. I got excited speculating that it was the latest, post-holiday batch from APSF.
That's green, is it notHoly shit this is the best blue I’ve seen. First example I’ve come across that shows the right hue.
This would look amazing with the copper logo.
Confused? It’s a gen dialThis would look amazing with the copper logo.
All good here so far. Consistent timing and no complaints on power reserve. Ive ran the chrono and flyback about 20 times because I couldn’t resist. Im not certain i’m not playing with fire, but all has been well up to this point. YMMVSo it's been 3 months. Anybody got any hiccups to report with the movement or are we all holding strong with this watch? Timekeeping? Power reserve? Anything quirky like chrono not resetting properly? Thanks my friends
Do you have the steel or ceramic? All good here so far. Consistent timing and no complaints on power reserve. Ive ran the chrono and flyback about 20 times because I couldn’t resist. Im not certain i’m not playing with fire, but all has been well up to this point. YMMV
A quick assessment of the movement shows that while it isn’t a real clone movement (a lot of gen parts will not fit), it is well built and fairly reliable, and I’ll put it in the same bracket as the 4130 clone movement quality. All good here so far. That sucks that it is not a true clone and doesn't take many gen parts....A quick assessment of the movement shows that while it isn’t a real clone movement (a lot of gen parts will not fit), it is well built and fairly reliable, and I’ll put it in the same bracket as the 4130 clone movement quality.
The flyback works but nobody knows currently how long it’ll hold up. It won’t be a concern if you run the flyback function a few times a day I guess. I don’t even do it for my gen 26240s despite owning them for about 2 years so I dare say it’s a function you can live without.![]()
Still a damn sight better than 7750 and deco platesThat sucks that it is not a true clone and doesn't take many gen parts....
