I envisage the price coming down on these pretty quickly like what happened with the CF platona when C Time announced it. None TD price should be around the 4000-4500 CNY range I imagine (similar to the latest daytonas and 5712s), probably more like 5000CNY for the ceramic versionAbsolutely and 900 USD is much money
I really don't need another blue dial but I just know the moment in hand pics start dropping I'm gonna order one...Blue, White and Ceramic Black... Green is also nice but my budget is limited
These are the two 26240 I own currently. I had a black dial stainless steel variant but offloaded it to a friend. These models are to AP what the Daytonas are to Rolex. But like I told @aHero and I am obliged to follow the etiquette myself, let’s keep it AP.Yeah that's what I'm thinking. Thus far the only reps I've had issues with are the non ETA clone movements. I'm also guessing a few of the cosmetic issues that @legend very rightly brings up (PS, Jesus your AP collection just gets more eye opening with every thread Al) may be rectified more and more with V2.
6. The factory gets raided. The typical course of a thread about a new model at RWI.
1. Doubts - ‘Oh, these are photos of the Gen!’. ‘That won't come out for another two years at least!’ ‘Wasn't that announced before?’
2. Unfounded enthusiasm - “Shut up and take my money”. “The best release ever!” ’1,000 USD? A bargain!’
3. Someone has found a flaw - ‘Look, the small 9 on the 6 o´clock subdial has no serif’. ‘But the screw under the rotor is much more beautifully brushed on the Gen. AAA!’
4. Complaining phase - ‘I won't buy the watch until the small 9 is corrected’. ‘I'll wait for v4’. ’1,000 USD? When Noob launched the same model in 1999, it only cost 70 USD! Rip off!’
5. The first QCs – ‘Wow!’ ‘Shut up and take my money’. ‘The best release ever!’ ‘$1,000? A bargain!’
I think we are nearing Phase 4 now ;-)

Send me your left one, ill do a side by side review in a undisclosed timeline. But trust me bro. These are the two 26240 I own currently. Beautiful. How easy or difficult is it to remove links on the gen ceramic bracelet? Wonder how they’ll do it on the ceramic rep..These are the two 26240 I own currently. Please note the green dial looks only green when you are in good lightnig conditions else it looks black. At least for the gen.Out of interest, which 3 did you order mate? I'm trying to decide between the white dial and green dial + the ceramic version
Edit - I do love the blue dial version as well but I already have way too many blue dial watches
Good to know, tbh I prefer the darker, more emeral like green dials. I have a 3kF green dial 5711 and the stock dial is far too bright and not at all like the gen green. Please note the green dial looks only green when you are in good lightnig conditions else it looks black. At least for the gen.
I don't think there is a panda 26240, I made the same mistake when this was announced, I think the reference you are thinking of is the 26331ST (AP afficianado's please correct me if I'm wrong)What happened to the panda versions ? I expected the full range of dial colors. That would be awesome !
I think the classic AP panda is so popular that there will be that version for the 26240 rep, too, at least as a custom dial.I don't think there is a panda 26240, I made the same mistake when this was announced, I think the reference you are thinking of is the 26331ST (AP afficianado's please correct me if I'm wrong)
Edit - I just looked on the AP website and the only panda version of the 26240 I could find is in frosted gold, see here - https://www.audemarspiguet.com/com/en/watch-collection/royal-oak/26240BC.GG.1324BC.01.html
I hope so. Even as a fantasy dial, I don’t care. Know one in my circle will know anyway lolI think the classic AP panda is so popular that there will be that version for the 26240 rep, too, at least as a custom dial.
