Yes. Rubber B costs $300! Which is like half of my rep watch costs. And the Rubber B isn’t even an accurate dupe. It’s an expensive copy that costs them $3 to make.

Aliexpress charges $10 for the strap and $17 for the FULL METAL genuine prongs/fangs. It’s a full 1:1 replica of the AP design for less.
I need to learn how to use Ali express lol. Need some rubber straps for a few panerais and refuse to pay $100-200 for a piece of rubber.

Step 1 go to Ali site
Step 2 look at cool stuff, buy from people with over 4.5 stars or several dozen pieces sold
Step 3 pay with credit card
Step 4 wait for mail to arrive

Damn I’ve only just into the rep game and wanted to get started with AP and this turns up looking like nothing I’ve ever seen before. Are there any detailed rep/gen comparisons in the works already? The dial side-by-side was incredibly convincing…

Plus it’s surely impossible to only own one dial colour too… the green and the blue are both beautiful.

This is what I have incoming for my ceramic
I will let you know if it works

What are you doing for clasp? Looks like its not included here just plots and rubber, unless I am wrong and clasp is included

Can you confirm size as well? 27 or 28mm?

I think it’s 27mm we need but this strap seem like it’s made/works for both.
The edge of my case measures around 26.5-27mm wide

I’ve got all sorts of clasps in my parts bins.

What I’m worried about is the ceramic case has a fat push pin to hold those little lug pieces.
The lug pieces I have as spares have tiny holes. So I may have to use the silver screw type tube to hold it on, or drill out the holes in the little lugs bigger.

I believe 28mm straps are for Divers and ROO chronos (42mm case)

This and the 15400 seem like 27mm

I think I’ll have wished I ordered a second set of the silver thin screw pins.
The case on the ceramic isn’t threaded for the black screws, but maybe a silver screw style will work.

Surely a $800 plus rep deserves better than a $17.00 strap. But that's up to the owner.
Likewise a $300 Rubber B strap deserves better than a $800 rep.

(The $17 is a rep strap. Comparable to the gen strap.

All that Rubber B and Delugs does is source the cheap stuff from China and add their markup. You saved on a rep, don’t make strap makers filthy rich. )

AliX rubber is pretty good. I'm fairly certain some of the straps on there are the same OEM factory as stuff like Barton. Don't go for the super cheap $10 straps though, pony up the money for the $20-30 straps, from experience the really cheap rubber stuff is horrible and collects dust, is WAY too soft (which won't support the weight of the watch) or the rubber can become brittle and snap (seen it happen)

I agree with Reaps.
The super cheap ones end up not getting used.
I only got the super cheap one to make sure I get the size right and see if I can even get the correct pins to make it work.
Most likely I’ll be then looking for something nicer, rubber B looks really nice to me, bit of a splurge at 300, I wonder what a gen 15400 rubber strap costs. Or maybe source a APSF or something.

The $20-30 Ali omega and breitling straps have felt very close to VSF / GF quality to me.
Tango or SMP is also a good option.
I love Tangos Python material as well as the matte croc that Combat straps does.

SMP_Lover hornback might look amazing, Black with gold thread? Or Carmel with double row black thread, Oh yah.

I’ve had these strap photos in my wish board for years now.
Miss my old carbon 44 on hornback.

I’ve been drooling over that photo of that rose gold chrono on that grey racing strap for probably 4 years now.

It seems I may be too late, but the ones you got are missing the tab that keeps the strap in place. You need to look for those specifically.

Without the tabs the strap will rotate around the connector - if that makes sense.

Do you mean like this
(These are 4.5mm width for a diver)

Looks like only the 4.5mm ROO plots have the notch, the 3.5mm seem to all be smooth (for a 15400 41mm RO)

This strap is 26.5mm wide so 27mm should work.
28mm Diver/ROO straps are too wide and hang over the side.

These 3.5mm wide plots fit, but the spare screw bars from my diver are too thick to fit in the gold plots.

I’m hoping the screw bars I ordered are thinner in the centre. ( or the new black plots have larger holes)

Another thing is the plot width between plots seems wider than this strap (other side of watch is too snug)
So I’ll see when this new 27mm rubber comes how it fits and keep everyone updated.

How did you get the pin all the way out? I tried today and could punch it out partially but couldn’t pull the rest out with my fingers. Did you use pliers or something to get it the rest of the way? I was to afraid to try
In a block like this
Used a broken off punch first for better control
Got it moving a tiny bit
Tiny taps at first.
Then the longer punch

I think I did have to use small pliers pulling and twisting back and forth to get it out the rest of the way.

Butt clenched pretty tight the whole time.
Pretty nervous about snapping off a whole lug.

There are these two little hollow barrels as shown in the above pic that create the friction/tension

The pin itself is the same diameter through its whole length, so can be removed either direction. (Unlike the bracelet sizing pins which only come out one direction)
