You have to wait for the videos, but the dials in comparison to the jtime version seem better

Agree the dials (at least the lume) look better. Plus they are OCC, not SCOC which never was on 6542 dials. But Li's bezels are way better. Sooo, one from Column A and one from Column B again, arghhh.

Let's see now that it shows trustytime videos if it reflects the images of their site, I believe that the images of now are retouched on the computer, The price will also be assessed, I hope it is about 288 dollars

The trusty ones look the same as the PC - same ugly Silix bezel and cheesy insert- no Pan Am engraving.

No, the only SCOC is the modded one posted by Redheart.

I have Scoc which is a 1675 dial and I decided to do a black Gilt 1675 instead of an albino. So this 6542 was welcome for this dial.

Those new 6542 offerings are not Scoc.

Trusty (NON-TD) has the whole boatload of them just listed. Complete with Fakelite bezels, lol.

https://www.trustytime02.cc/index.ph...e+6542&x=0&y=0

They look good I think, if the bezel is regular paint and moffable, I think OOTB they re THE bargain to mod!

But those case looks more thick, not as slim as the TS one

I think those may be a potent base candidate for a 6538?
I hope the dial opening is small enough!

Much better than the $8,888 posted while they were getting the site sorted. Lol. Too bad TT is not a TD...
Nice assortment of choices though. But I’ll let the experts comment on the quality.

One question is:
Did the gen 6542 black dial Pepsi have gold paint, negative gilt, or white lettering on the dial (other than the pink for depth and GMT line on the very rare black dial ones)?

I’m looking at all the research sites and can’t find a definitive answer. Anyone have the truth on this?

Looking at pics of gen, I believe it is negative relief gilt.
