Thrasher No worries. Take your time. Nice khaki! I have a Hamilton dress watch that I got in college. It's a great watch, but it's way too small for me by today's standards. Sadly, I kept comparing Rolexes to the size of the Hamilton and I opted not to buy a new 16610 sub and Explorer 1 back in 2002 when I had the chance to buy both for my 30th birthday. I passed on the sub because I thought it was too big, and the Explorer because I read a scathing review on Timezone, written by a watchsmith, which ended up being a fraudulent review! Then I completely forgot about watches during the rest of the early 2000s, when money was growing on trees, I had no kids, and the gen prices were still cheap. Now that I have discovered the magic of Vietnam case builds, and the wizards here who can use them, along with gen parts, to create franken-gens, I don't feel so bad. Had I bought those 2 gens I may have ended my watch journey right then and there, and I may have never discovered the vintage world. I could have ended up being one of those clueless gen owners who has no idea about the history or significance of the watch they are wearing on their own wrist! LOL
