Jtime, and no tag can be seen on the QC, so I assume mine is from PPF and not ZF

Every watch that came out from the factory from June 7 onwards will all be labelled ZF.

If you still received PPF, its probably a rejected QC piece previously that was sent back to correct the imperfections (or not).

Probably gonna be the case for watches starting from the next week or two. The transitioning of PPF -> ZF will not be a full stop imo, just like we saw a week both GREEN and PPF versions handed out to people .

But it seems that in any case, the factory here is really not important, they don’t assemble it themselves as it’s just a distributor for that ‘unknown’ small factory. They just jumped ship concerning the distributor

Yea, no matter what label they out on it, Green was the one who sourced the parts and I'm sure every part will remain the same until someone screws it up, and we all know it mostly happens. So for now just enjoy the watch for what it is.

They are known for providing some quality pieces such as the AP RO series, the IWC series and the PP calatrave series. All of them have generally good feedback. Though it’s their first ‘nautilus’ piece if I’m not mistaken. They have released aquanauts in the past.

I asked him to get me a better shot of the dial.
What do you guys think ?

Asking for a little assistance because as i mentioned earlier that i am legally blind in my left eye... injury caused by an IED in Iraq 2006 with the US Army ...so i cant see well enough

The pics are quite blurry... but from what I can see, I don't see any obvious flaws. The gap at 12 is actually a common thing if you look at all the QC's in the past. However, I'll let the QC experts chime in for more accurate view.

Yea ... the gap is common . Now that you mentioned it, i went back to look at qc pics of other members.... asked eric to send me a close up pic of the dial.

For those wondering, yes it is possible to fit a gen dial on the 5712 rep.

A pic of the PPF/Geen 5712 with the gen dial installed. It is not a direct plug and play, some mods are needed but it is definitely possible.

Great work as usual. Thanks for sharing the information. Quick question: Is the case height close enough to gen ?

The 3 o'clock marker looks to be lower than the 9 o'clock one.
