Just FYI, you wont to able tp send it back once it leave China, Chinese custom is hella strict, my last 3 modded watch got stoped by the custom, sad story, but it will be alot easier to send your watch to a good modder, we have a lot of excellent modder on here, I prefer Legend ;)

Yes I have other reps that are probably less accurate. I'm not going to worry unless I receive the watch and I have issues then I'll send it back.

Just got mine today and the greenish sunburst was the first thing I noticed. But it's not that easy to take a photo of because it's a bright spot on camera. Tilt it a little so the bright spot goes away and it doesn't look green anymore. Nirvana has some photo skills to capture that with a nice balance on camera.

Hiya,

I feel like I've opened a can of worms so my apologies. I didnt mean to burst the excitement bubble, the watch is stunning!!

It could be as srhoque said that the machine wasn't calibrated correctly resulting in an inaccurate reading or it could be dirt/dust or it could be a faulty movement, we just don't know unfortunately.

My understanding, and others will correct me if I'm wrong, is that for the most part, TDs act as middlemen/women, and will send QC pictures for the buyers approval of the watches they receive from the factory.

If the buyer rejects, for a valid reason, they send back to the factory and get a new one. I know that some TDs have watchsmiths that can do minor fixes, but for the most part, I believe they just act as a go between between us and the factory.

But back to the 13s/day, even if it was accurate, that's about 90 seconds per week, or 6 minutes per month.

Even if it was your only watch, and you were wearing it 24/7, or when not wearing it, it was going to be on a winder, then you'd notice.

But would ~6 minutes a month really bother you? Only you can answer that as your money at the end of the day. For me, it wouldn't, but I rotate my watches weekly, and generally have to wind them anyway, so never really notice or bother with lost/gained time.

If you're visually happy with the watch, I wouldn' reject it, but ultimately your call.

Hopefully your TD can give you some additional assurances.

Best of luck

No worries, I found a great app for Android that measures S/Dau amd bph called Watch Accuracy Meter in the process.

Cool, I'll have a look and see how inaccurate mine are when I get a chance so, thanks for the tip. Not that itll really bother me either way, I imagine some of my GENs will probably lose/gain more time than my new reps :)

Look forward to seeing some shots of it on your wrist Sir

I use the same app too, very handy. And reps tend to have different accuracy depending on the position you place them, like -30s sideway but -6s face up, whereas gens tend to have more consistent result on all positions.

Anybody have the link for Amazon for the tools to change and resize the bracelet? I bought a rubber strap and a blue leather strap for the Nautilus.

They said 3 to 5 business days I'm not sure whether that's when I will get the tracking number or when it will arrive. Hopefully, I won't have to wait a month with my watch stuck in customs.

Why would you put your personal info like that on a public forum?

I'd say it was an accident coupled with excitement having ordered a new watch, face palm moment.

Raddave

Sorry for bothering you, but is there a way to whip this picture/order detailoff as the poster may not have seen my message or PM?

Thanks
