In real life , gen hands also lume brighter then the dial under the sun. But in the dark or indoor they look the same. Thats gen spec broYeah very apparent there that the Buff hour and minute hands don't match SW lume at all. They are crazy bright and don't even match the Buff dial lume. I have a SW dial on order and will use the Buff date and second hand (an improvement over 3kf), but will see if the 3kf hour and minute hands match the SW lume better as gen, SW, and 3kf lume all look rather white to me, and Buff lume is noticeably yellow.
Tiffany dial?I'm looking for a buff teal dial
The Chinese modders don't know what I'm talking about. How do you describe it to them?
You don't. They haven't made those in a really long time so unless your dealer has some very old stock sitting around (unlikely, they request from the factory like every other item), you're not getting the original teal Buff dial.I'm looking for a buff teal dial

In my humble opinion, it's two reasons,Why do u guys still like buff dial ? Just wondering .. since even the first batch which is the best its still not very correct. Buff hour markers are too fat compared to gen. and patek logo printing is too light. Sw is more correct overall IMO.
Blue Buff v1 5711 dial has the most dynamic color I've ever seen in 5711 rep dials. In addition, it (along with v3) has a green hue that SW lacks. Why do u guys still like buff dial ? True bro if for the greenish hub.Blue Buff v1 5711 dial has the most dynamic color I've ever seen in 5711 rep dials. In addition, it (along with v3) has a green hue that SW lacks.
Very well said! Most people go with the brand . buff started off good with products , but the later batches are poorly made. even the datewheels are different printIn my humble opinion, it's two reasons,
1) Buff was the first to offer these dials and after market parts, they are very well known, their brand is strong, SW is more new to the game, same with RB, so they are less known, noobs and new members will likely have heard of Buff but not SW
2) In replica game, there is often myths that are carried on forward. We see this alot, for example, we still get members talk about how "Clean crystal is really bad, must swap", when in reality, Clean crystal is completely ok on most models. This happen with Buff, the myth propgate "Buff is the best after market dial", and then it continues on and on, they repeat it without doing research or having any updated information
Very true , but the V1 was unfortunately showing too spectacular sunburst imoBlue Buff v1 5711 dial has the most dynamic color I've ever seen in 5711 rep dials. In addition, it (along with v3) has a green hue that SW lacks.
I agree, I Love My Buff V1 but sunburst is too strong.Very true , but the V1 was unfortunately showing too spectacular sunburst imo
V3 is less appealing in term of color, but more realistic and readable in term of sunburst....
Yep. Buff v1/3 dials are great on their own and not because of their "gen likeness".From what i see in real life. Honestly not all gen have green hub. Seems like the older year have it only
