This buff 5712 is just v1 ppf with buff markers.
The moon phase is still wrong size

Unfortunately it seems we are right. Previously popup showed me a 5712 dial produced by SW factory/maker but I figured out that it may fit only the v1 rep. I think these dials are the same and SW might be the v1 dial supplier of PPF.I’m afraid it’s simply a PPF V1 dial, see my conversation with Popup
Damn. DYDD guys, good reminder that this is not a TD we are dealing with.Unfortunately it seems we are right. Experts eye! Well spotted buddy.I compared this Buff dial with the PPF v2 using my superimposition technique. The background pic shows a PPF v2 watch and my red drawing represents specific points of the Buff dial. Based on this comparison the Buff's moon phase cut looks smaller than that of the PPF v2 dial. Nevertheless, this Buff dial would be good with an appropriate Buff moon phase disk. However, I suspect this dial is simply v1. (See my previous post here.)
any photo ?FYI
My non TD WeChat dealer sells fully modded Buff 5711 at USD 838 for his new customers.
Atm I only have a video:any photo ?
Thx...Atm I only have a video:
The crown isn't recessed though. Dial looks good / decent with a modest sunburst though.Atm I only have a video:
Is recessing the crown a part of the Buff modding package? The crown isn't recessed though. Dial looks good / decent with a modest sunburst though.
Fully modded to me implies it but worth clarifying. Either it's not done or included in the package or it is done but they're limited in how much it can be recessed due to case limitations. Is recessing the crown a part of the Buff modding package?
Sorry, I meant the usual full Buff modding package which afaik includes the following mods (in Chinese and in google translated English, my interpretation is in parentheses):Fully modded to me implies it but worth clarifying. buff hands are usually much greener than indices. here they look the same color, are we sure they are real Buff hands?
It is said Buff has modified his lume used for his 5711 hands in order to get a better color match with his dial markers.buff hands are usually much greener than indices. here they look the same color, are we sure they are real Buff hands?
Sorry, I meant the usual full Buff modding package which afaik includes the following mods (in Chinese and in google translated English, my interpretation is in parentheses):
3k5711表
buff盘面
buff指针
buff日历
可动头粒
整表精磨
3k5711 watch
buff dial
buff pointer (hands)
buff calendar (date disk)
movable head grain (flexible first links)
the whole watch is finely ground (re-finishing)
I think nope.I wonder if re-finishing includes thinning of the bezels?
little bit broSi dice che Buff abbia modificato il suo lume usato per le sue lancette 5711 per ottenere una migliore corrispondenza cromatica con i suoi indici.
Previously WeChat seller popup posted these pics of the latest Buff 5711 in his moments. Not sure if those hands are 3KF stock or Buff's:little bit bro
