Regarding the replacement of the breakable winding stem of the 324sc clone movement unfortunately I couldn't find a cheap source either. The best price I know is RMB 200 each in case of a batch order of 10 pieces.

The rest of the mods were bringing so much to the watch that this is not relevant imo...Plus I don't care to pass it for gen so the fact the movement looks crap doesn't bother me at all....

Agree — it’s less about passing it off for gen and more playing the game and the pursuit of perfection (which I know is impossible to achieve but it fun trying).

Thinking about this some more — it does feel like a solvable problem. People in this hobby do all sorts of crazy mods and go the extra mile all the time. Wondering if there’s a polishing or coating that could happen, or if there are after market movement bridge folks that could do a custom offering. Limited demand so maybe it doesn’t make any business sense….

$80k (or something in that ballpark) is next level franken. I mean it’s likely worth at least that, but the number of amazing gen watches you could get with that amount is

Beautiful the gen dial is. But knowing its price my Buff dial is also beautiful.
