I'm sorry, my friend goes to China for work once a year, he will return to China in 2024 :-( he used other people to order Buff I don't know the process he did on site. He just told me it wasn't easy.
You can however ask Legend, SpongeBob and other historical members here on RWI who operate directly in Asia.

If you want to stick to a safe, trusted but a bit more expensive route then I can suggest you to contact AMF. They are a TD here who can also offer modding services (eg. crown recessing regarding Buff 5711 watch).

Buff just release a new version datewheel . Super raise printed just like gen! Damn , my v2 datewheel just arrived today and he released a v3 .

I just installed the newer batch buff dial. The color is different. It reflects less and way less green hub. I dont know if thats closer to gen. but the stripe on the dial are fatter which is not gen like. Over all i like the old better.
and seems like no one can install the buff second hand. The pinon tube is just wrong size

too loose or too tight?

I have had bad hands from AliExpress come in that a customer might want installed a few times, but use cutting broaches to make holes bigger or other tools to tighten the hand collars.

Thin and reshape bezel to gen spec

Recess crown

Prob some more stuff

not certain It’s appropriate to discuss Legend’s costs but it was a lot and worth it
