Perhaps I didn't quite catch the context, but PAM1342 in the bettarini case was made by HWF some time ago. HW models did not appear under the VSF brand, and in the bettarini case I remember, perhaps, only PAM088 and now, PAM1024, given that both are AW. And HW probably slightly adjusted its case since the first models, however, from what I have observed so far, they make one case for models with any movt., for gen, without taking into account the specifics of the differences.
Oh yes, of course you're right... I got sidetracked by the mentioning of the 1342 in this thread speaking of new VSF releases themed with Luna Rossa!
Old model by HWF, nothing to be excited for :(
Cheers.

Sorry to necro a thread but wanted to let you know my 1404 has the same typo and I'm wondering about the little segmented window on the movement. I guess it's some kind of fake power reserve meter?

Yes, that's right. Unfortunately, there is no full-fledged clone of P.900 in any modification, and VSF uses its clone P.9001 with GMT function, just applying other markings. But P.9001, used by them earlier, for example in PAM320, has a power reserve indicator on the back, in the form of such a window, which never functioned on rep (There were opinions that such appeared at the time of SBF at the dawn, but I have not seen real watches). So, yes, this is a PR indicator window, which should not be there, and it also does not work. In any case, the appearance of movt., on this model is a failure, therefore, it is not pleasant, but not critical, in my opinion.

Gotcha. Mine does seem to do something but I suspect it's just a painted segment on the crown wheel. It doesn't have any relationship with how much the watch is wound.

On the plus side, the watch is keeping excellent time - fingers crossed.

I actually like this release a lot but really not sure how it sits on my 6.5" wrist.

Seems a few have these on their wrists and would appreciate if any ( @davelister @Virpag @RepsAllDay ) could take a measurement and advise what is the thickness.

I suppose many are like me sitting on the fence waiting for this critical information.

While it sits a little high simply because of the exhibition case back, it doesn't overhang at all and, I have a 6.5 wrist too. In fact it's one of the most comfortable watches I own. I did buy a new leather strap for it but didn't realize the springbars are actually threaded so I need to source some threaded ones.

I'd like to add that I love this thing so much I'm considering it in gen for my first real luxury watch. Will most likely have to be used, but I don't care.
