When the crown jump back to the date setting position is it probably a keyless problem.

Here's another QC photo of the CG pin slightly sticking out. It doesn't bother me as it's hardly visible to the untrained eye.

This is much less than mine it was. However a little press moved my pin down to position like your currently is.

They generally arent. Macro photos arent flattering. Please let me know how you go!
hey so mine finally came in yesterday, and thankfully the CG pin and lever are actually non-issues (to me anyway) in person because they are barely noticeable in hand, and even more so on the wrist. and thankfully i haven't been having any of the same issues as some of the members here with faulty levers etc. mine snaps perfectly, and the CG pin is actually 99% flush to the CG, although from some angles it might not look like it. all in all a happy customer!

Here's mine:

Might be a bit soon to call it but with the issues being reported vs a small sample size it would appear this is a common issue. I may hold off on this a little longer

So do these issues happen on the ZF versions or is KW also a concern?

I also just received my ZF 1312 a few days ago and wore it for a few hours before trying to set the time. I was happy with all the QC pics even though a stitch or two on the strap are out of alignment and the accuracy machine was 10 seconds out, I was happy to accept it with those minor issues.

On trying to set the time though, I had some issues before finally getting it right. Initially, just the date would change when pulling the crown all the way out. After reading on here that it may need a manual wind, I managed to set the time. Manual wind was done by turning the crown counterclockwise when fully pushed in.

What I found strange was the nut at the base of the crown seemed to have unscrewed somewhat. See the pics below (date set on 9). After I pushed the crown in and simultaneously tightened the nut, I was able to set the time. I'll leave it as is and hope for the best.

I have the opportunity to make some comparisons pics.

The movement in the new 1312 is a stock A7750 with a new and thinner rotor bridge

With this bridge is it possible to lower the deco plate and that's why the 7750 fit into the new slimmer case

On toro's site, it shows the 523 as 15mm thick and the 1523 as 18mm. Can this be correct?

Depends on which 1523.... if its the old one with the wrong fat lugs and case it will be 18mm.

The new one is 15.65mm

Sorry to bother you again Chris but any word on the quality of movement used?

Had a pretty awful run with ZF A7750's

You don't bother. [emoji16]

It's a normal A7750 without the chrono.
But the movement I had here was very over oiled on some places.
