thank you so much, i can't edit the post, there is no edit button, after a while RWI doesn't allow me to edit the post.

I asked for an angle photo of the watch from the dealer, but the watch is in UK now and he is in China so he can't take that photo. do you think i will have the same issue with the "bented" dial? is it an issue that happens in every single KOR?

I have the blue dial and mine doesn't have the 'bent' dial so I wouldn't worry about it.

If you look closely the black dial version uses the blue datewheel. It’s hard to see it in photos but once I noticed it I couldn’t live with it and when i removed mine it was definitely blue not black lol. I’m assuming they never made a black datewheel and just used the blue for both versions.

I look at the black dial that I just had but traded and it looks like a black date wheel in it. Maybe im wrong? Maybe it was just some of them?

Yes yours appears to be black. In the QC pics up top it does indeed look blue.

Two things:
1) I wonder what the KOR 38mm blue dial looks like? Is it the same blue as the 41mm chronograph?
If Not:
2) It almost looks like they repped the blue dial A24322 world [GMT] blue dial.. every time is see that blue dial, I’m like “eewh there it is, oh wait no that’s the 46mm World.”

Mine seems to wind up well, keep good time and the date wheel is nice and centered. The blue is off, the dial/case positioning is a bit wonky, the chrono doesn’t always snap directly back to zero, I have to push it a couple times to get it back like it’s a bit too snug up in there or something..

Idk, some days I’m kinda ‘meh’ about it and others I’m like ‘oh yeah’...
it still doesn’t scratch that navitimer itch like I’d hoped it would.. (especially after seeing some of the Frankens on here)

neon_7 I have to admit though, his GF blue dial looks pretty gen-ish after the mod..

The KOR 38mm is nothing like the blue here. It's more closer to the GF but again, both are true to gen in my opinion. The blue colour on this dial is great, it's like a navy and again, gen is similar if you get the exact same piece.

This watch is a great piece to have, but the GF Navi Blue is my favourite as I'm a fan of the 3,6,9 layout.

I have no regrets on this purchase of the KOR.

Yeah, I just don’t see it. I’ve seen a couple blue ones at the dealer I have in town, and I feel like I’ve searched and searched the internet to find a similar blue and I just haven’t been able to find a match.
the ones I’ve seen in person are either a lot more royal or a lot closer to the GF blue.. the A24322 is the only blue I’ve seen close to what my dial looks like...
they may have had a certain iteration that’s this color, I just cannot find a real life example..

A major plus with the KOR is the slide rule, the silver colour looks very good, also the fact that it takes a gen crystal. My BP Navi world didn’t handle the gen crystal very well.

We really need one of these factories to make an 806 or 809 vintage navitimer... they could use the ST-19 hand wind. I’d be all over that

Maybe it is something that I’m just not used to in the navi reps or I missed/didn’t pay attention to when looking at gens, but my slide rule seems a bit over-silvery... while I prefer it to the yellowy look, it strikes me as a bit off in some lights... overall a good rep though!!

I think You are right in respect to this new model, in some light the silver reflects a little too much. I’m using the case for an older navitimer build some of these older ones had very silvery slide rules, one example was the old lemania 24h cosmonaut.

I did in fact order a black one, but a blue one arrived. I’m not too fussed, as the moment I unpacked it, I fell in love with the blue :)
some have reported that the movement clamps are crap on these. Well... I can attest to that. Some Chinese person thought it would be sufficient to physically kick the movement into the case and leave it like that... so the rotor is catching on the case bottom and there is a considerable gap between the dial and the rotating bezel... so this will have to go off to the menders...

So my KOR‘s have finally arrived after being with DHL for 4 weeks...
I’m really really pleased with the white dial one.

Man, that white is beautiful! I don’t normally include all images when quoting a post, but people deserve to see this watch again!
on another note, I’m glad to see this one was assembled correctly. If it were a case machining issue that caused the gap like on your blue version, then the white one would most likely suffer the same fate.

Nice to see that the slide rule indices line up well on these - they don't appear to on some of the TD pics. Very nice looking pieces, too bad about the movement clamps hopefully that's an easy fix but geez.
