Nautilus date wheel project

If you remember when i sent you measurements the aqunaut dw was diffrent. Watches are from diffrent makers, this makes it hard to perfecly fit every watch but still its i think is ok. Also because those pic are higly closes up and magnified.

Yeah that is why i tried to find a mediocre without crossing the nautilus DW edges as it is slightly smaller. As the 5711 is kind of more popular i think this is a nice first effort!

Spongebob do you have a blue PF for test fitting? It’s hard to judge anything with that white dial one as the datecut looks weird in general..

no blue dial atm. unless someone is going to give me a blue dial need to wait untill i source one or source another watch. willing to trade my relumed one for one

Maybe he has one at his bench that is open anyway. That was my idea. I think it’s easier to judge the datewheel when it’s in a blue dial. That way you can check alignment and print quality easier than on the busy white one.

I think if you post a simple before & after you'll see how far the first prototype has separated itself from the stock factories. I think it looks exquisite.

I don't think it will be centered in the JFF, the date window is a bit wider than the PF's date window
