do you guys know how bad the QC on PF is ? as i know the one that should be concerned is the marker alignment
and also how does the rotor ? is it loud or the modified miyota would make it less reliable than the regular miyota?

I haven't seen a perfect one yet. No, let me rephrase, I have seen very bad ones.

There are some good quality PFs. They are not all plagued with misaligned markers and other QC issues.
Do not listen to SuperLory.
OKay, I caved i and I'm in the process of ordering a PF from ToroBravo.
He sent me 2 Qc's already. On the first set, the markers were perfect, but the Logo, the E and L and the end of other letters), seemed like they were misprinted to the bottom, something I can't live with.
The second he sent, has misaligned 12 hour markers and even worse printing...

Disappointment continues with the PF 5711. The latest issue being the markers incorrectly placed on the dials, as shown on several QC photos. Lack of Quality Control at the factory is clearly the problem. Other issues with the PF 5711 are discussed in the PF 5711 introductory thread of Angus's Industry Insights section, for those who are unaware. Too much to enumerate in this post.
I just saw this thread and thank you to OP for the amazing pics !! Thinking of getting either the Nautilus SW200 grey dial but now that I saw this makes me think twice.. Just wanted to ask am I missing something cus PF and MKF both hav miyota on TRB's website?

I'm not surprised that some TDs won't sell this watch, not because the watch is bad but because you are all WAY too picky and starting to see problems that aren't even there, if I was a TD and I'd sent you three lots of QC and you rejected this I'd tell you to forget it and jog on!

So I got this QC, everything looks pretty great, but by the 12 hour markers it looks like there's a tiny space between the markers and you can see the dial pattern in between, is that supposed to be there? Or are they supposed to be touching each other?

That’s normal. He got you a great rep you should definitely pull the trigger with no hesitation!

Gens do vary between having no gap and sometimes having a slight gap, have a look at the steel 5711 on the left here...

When you zoom in you can see a slight gap. In person I'd be amazed if you are able to see that gap.

Got mine a few days ago - no issues at all - markers aligned and text aligned perfect compared to gen. I have owned a few of these over the years and this one is by a long mile, the best I have received. The bracelet and clasp are so much better than previous attempts. Actually very impressed!
Rotor is noisy.. as has been mentioned.
