These are all fantastic man. I’ve got two of the Sillan 16610 cases incoming. One I’m gonna convert to a 16613 Franken and the other I’ll build a 16610 and flip to recoup some of my build costs. I haven’t nutted up enough to drill lug holes. I don’t have a drill press. I’ve seen guys hand drill from the inside until they get a tiny hole on the outer lug, then use that as the center hole for a 1.3mm. Figure I can clean it up a bit with a de-burr later. Anybody done it this bootleg way before?

5-digit 14060 Build

I’ve been a fan of the 14060 for a while and thought I would attempt one for my first build as no one is currently producing a rep. There’s not much choice in dial options which is a shame (what with the gens’ particular dimensions etc) so it’s either a raffles dial in a 16610 case, or a gen...

I purchased a Sillan 16610 case from Alibaba.

I purchased this item from Sillan which I believe is the RAF/ARF 16610 case from the Aliobaba website. It arrived today and I am going to try out a few things.

This watch was originally made 14060 with a sillan16610 case.
I used a GEN dial that was cheap on eBay.
It was not in very good condition, so I modified the surface with matte spray.
The bezel insert and DW are also GEN from eBay.

I think it turned out well as a result.

I just received the 1680 dial.

This is the third 1680 dial we have received.
This is the first one I bought from a Vietnamese supplier I found on Facebook.

From my eyes it is very well made.
The price was about 1/3 of Vietnamese dials on ebay etc.

Very nice build. Next on my list!!

The markers on the dial were too white, so I aged them a bit.
