I modified a BP 16610 of this watch to make a 14060, but I cut the rehaut engraving and drilled holes in the lugs and put a Raffles 14060 dial in it. The cyclop lens was removed.

Thank you very much.

I am glad to receive a compliment from a wonderful senior like you.

You're very welcome Sir, an awesome collection & thank you for photographing/sharing.

Other than my advancing age, nada senior about me 🤭

I'm also smiling because aside from the Kermit, my own missus wouldn't bother me about the other 6, thinking they were all the same ;) Even though us watch nerds on here can tell the difference, the

Yes, sir.
I agree.

I have more than one submariner and to a non-interested person they look the same.

But I can't stop.

I just received the 1680 dial.

This is the third 1680 dial we have received.
This is the first one I bought from a Vietnamese supplier I found on Facebook.

From my eyes it is very well made.
The price was about 1/3 of Vietnamese dials on ebay etc.

Beautiful collection! You mind sharing the name of the Facebook seller that sold you the red 1680 and the 16800 dials?

The first 1680 dial was purchased from a friend in Hong Kong.
The 16800 dial was purchased from a m2m posting.

I will check with the vendor to see if the Facebook vendor of the 1680 dial that I posted can post it here.

The hands paint is now dry.
I'm wondering if I should repaint them since they are brighter than I expected.

Approved by the seller on Facebook.

The seller is Bi Vintage Store.
I saw the same name on several RWI threads.
There is another RWI member with the same name, but he seems to be a different person than the Facebook seller.
There is also Bi vintage store2014 on ebay, but this also seems to be a different person.

I used a cheap plexi I bought on ebay this time because the magnification of Clark's cyclops seemed too large.
In the case of the MILK case, there was a gap in the plexi and it was loose, so I used heat resistant tape I saw in another thread to fill the gap and fixed it with hypo cement.

For the bezel insert, I will install the one made by JK in Hong Kong that @pompompurin told me about.
The second 1680 is completed.

These are all fantastic man. I’ve got two of the Sillan 16610 cases incoming. One I’m gonna convert to a 16613 Franken and the other I’ll build a 16610 and flip to recoup some of my build costs. I haven’t nutted up enough to drill lug holes. I don’t have a drill press. I’ve seen guys hand drill from the inside until they get a tiny hole on the outer lug, then use that as the center hole for a 1.3mm. Figure I can clean it up a bit with a de-burr later. Anybody done it this bootleg way before?
