I'm usually not a big fan of yellow gold, but that one's a great combo in real life!

I like the combo too but the 41mm has less curvy case less angle and larger clasp. Need to see it IRL

I got one also. This thing is top notch. Funny story i wore it to the AD when i went to pick up the 126613lb. The sales clerk insisted on cleaning all my jewelry and of course my watch. I said no but she continued to offer so i said what the heck why not. She cleaned it and didnt say a word, infact 2 other employees complimented the watch and said congrats on adding the 2tone to the sub collection. My point is this rep is outstanding ootb. Not that sales people are experts by any means but they do however handle gen watches all day and this one was handled, cleaned, and complimented by a very reputable and large AD. Obviously once the caseback is off its a tell but who cares I'd never let that happen anyway.

I experienced the same at an AD dealer in Florida when I handed over my pimped Noob V3 116500 Daytona
I also tell all my friends it is a fake watch and no one believes it really funny!
I think the only people who can spot a fake super rep are such people like us here on the board or a person which deals with used RLX watches and knows to problem with the rep pieces.
I dare to say that its unpossible to spot a fake superclone Sub in the wild on the hand ore even much closer.

Only two years away.... But I see them on Chrono just a bit over retail. Often a little bit "easier" to get the TT than the steel ones. Crossing my fingers. Also open for a TT LN.

This took about a week to get after inquiring, but to be fair i go to that AD alot just to see whats in stock and to show face. Ive been in there more often recently as im on the waitlist for the new green bezel sub, but i was asking about this one also and got the call about a week after. I just turned 29 so it was a late bday gift to myself. Definitely get it, its worth every penny imo.

I think its just going to be the stainless models. The 2 tone seem reasonable to get. The green bezel sub i doubt ill see this year. Maybe 2021. Idk im not enough of a heavy hitter with my AD to get the VIP treatmebt and priority.

I don't think so bro, this is the best rep crystal/cyclops I've ever seen. Thinking seriously about swapping in a gen Swiss ETA though. Last night after I took it off and wiped it down, I looked at it under magnification for about 15 minutes. I lost count of how many times I said to myself "Wow, this is really nice", haha. Makes me want to get one for some family members who have no clue. The hang tags, the matching serial card, what a great package at a reasonable price.

How easy is it to swap this movement out with an ETA 2824? Is it a straight swap? Hands etc will fit a gen ETA?

The date won’t flip on mine now when I try to adjust it with the crown and when I adjust the hands past midnight it takes until around 3am to flip and then it doesn’t flip completely.

How easy is it to swap this movement out with an ETA 2824? Is it a straight swap? Hands etc will fit a gen ETA?

1:1 swap bro. Dial, hands and datewheel. There is always a chance the date won't line up exactly so the DWO may need to be removed from the rep DW and reglued onto the gen DW. It may be advisable to do that anyway since there are known issues related to date flipping.

You could try swapping in a new Calendar driving wheel. These have a spring in them that often gets weak and can result in poor date flipping. This would not include crown position 2 quickset date flipping.

Just as good. Selitta used to make parts for ETA, they just kept making them for themselves when the patent ran out.

Wow, what a great thread! I'm just coming back to RWI after a hiatus and found this. I'm now in the market for a Sub, so this caught my eye. I powered through this whole thread during some down time during the past 2 days. Thanks so much to the OP and all the knowledgeable contributors!

So today i got something in the mail box, and as promised, i have a few pictures...very nice sub, just the bracelet feels cheap next to a ARF bracelet.
You will see in the next pictures something strange inside the watch...




Then i decided to open the watch, because i found that the winding and the rotor noise was not usual for a Asian 2824....And i finally found a clone 3135 ! By far the most beautiful clone i have never seen anyway !!!

So you guys, do you have an idea of what kind of clone movement is this one ? Is this watch a RXF, with this 7GJ clasp code ?

Thats a VSF not RXF. Thats a VS3135 movement. Congrats you got a free upgrade!

Honestly, that's what i thought mate ! But i didn't know both RXF and VSF shared the same clasp code !

The watch is awesome, but believe me, that bracelet feels so cheap...look forward to change it for a ARF
