No all.. My Gen Cyclop on Datejust is not blue
Rolex improves / changes by batches / marks.

Hi all,
Can I assume the 2R serial batches is V1 and Q6 serial batches is V2?
May I know the main differences between the 2?

Sure:) In october 2022 the upgraded Bezel insert, bezel pip (pearl), serial, rehaut polish, winding issue on movement vs3235. thats what i know so far.

Is it really true that no gen cyclops have a bluish AR on the cyclops? I visited a store a couple of days ago and tried to get a good look. To me, at least some of the Submariners did seem to have a slight blue tint at certain angles. Then again, my vision isn't perfect. :)

No, not at all.
There are Rolex with misaligned rehauts, rough hands, date wheels not perfect, there are numerous variations to every bezel colour, and yes every single AR cyclops is not identical.

If the Rolex factory runs 24/7/365 it turns out a watch every 32 seconds.
You think they all get checked that carefully?

Very good job on this. What is truly amazing when you take all this data gathered from those pics into account, is that the Chinese can make such a good watch for end retail price of just over £400. I’m wearing mine as my daily driver.

I wound the watch up after having it a couple of days and since then the 15 sec a day variance has gone and it’s now +-2s a day.
If I could find the parts I would change the insert, get it polished to factory, maybe the crystal. Only after having it a couple of years though.

What I have found out after wearing it is, no one cares 😂.

I have a similar priced seiko diver and the VSF feels better in all areas. Which is a tribute to the work that’s put in I guess, even if it is only done to ape an existing brand.

Just bought a 10x/18x loupe and been looking at the text on the dial of my subby, man that’s some fine looking printing. Really digging wearing this thing.

Hi guys quick question I got a Clean 126610LN with its doggy movement hybrid 3235 and wondered is it possible to just grab vsf126610LN movement and put it into my clean case ? And use clean dial on my vs3235 movement ? Thanks

Also are the vsf126610 in 2024 have their best movement clone ? That can take genuine sub parts ?

The VS3235 is the ideal movement for frankens

You can swap the movements and dials yes 👍

Great and informative thread. Does any one know about the latest bezel color being made for VSF or other Subs? Im looking for a 126610 LV with the lighter green color as depicted on this photo (from 2023)

Would love if there was, hopefully some day.
Am a big fan of my Starbucks, but the lighter green is very nice, like the older Kermit's.

🤞
I feel you! I really like the MK2 more, the color is more vibrant and less dull so to speak. Not to say that the MK1 is not a great color, I just find the MK2 to be beautiful in my eyes. I hope we get one soon, its almost two years in production soon, and can't understand why it hasn't been rep yet

Why do you think it hasn't? Is it demand vs. cost in production? Ive tried to contact different sellers, and FicoTime (non-TD) claims he can source the MK2 VSF. Im just not sure he understands my question, when asking for the MK2 even though I provide the same picture as above.
I haven't seen any bezel being sold separately either, so I can't even get the current VSF MK1 and get it replaced with a MK2 bezel.

I hope it is OK that I share this QC photos here, if not please delete.
This is not my QC, it is a 126610LV VSF from non-TD FicoTime. In my eyes it looks like a MK2 bezel, but it could very well be the light that makes it look brighter. What are your guys thoughts on this particular watch being MK2?

This is actually not totally true. I have the current VSF Submariner. Yes you can swap all movement parts, but the dial you can't swap in a gen. The VSF dial is press fit and doesn't have dial posts on the back. The movement they produced also doesn't have dial retaining screws. Does anyone know if the clean movment has these?

Another part that i found quite different was the winding stem.

The only other downside i found when servicing mine today was the movement retention is using 2 cheap posts to hold in the movement vs the rolex turn screws to the right and twist method. They could easily fix this in a future iteration but for now they've taken these shortcuts.
