Drugs not coming from China, mate.

I know - just making an analogy...:)

Do we know which specific factory was hit or has that information not been disclosed. Although details are given in your translation (thank you for doing that, btw), on the fora we just know them as H-fact etc...?

Yeah, the new Chairman and Prime minister of China is serious, of course they can never wipe out all but if they really insist on continue doing this, the amount of rep will be going lesser and lesser and the price of it will also become higher and higher........

"Hi
They are probably quoting the news of a few days ago ..the raid was march ..

A few days ago . The police of china just revealed the news over
a news conference claiming credit for this being the biggest raid
In history ... Actually this maker is just one of the small maker ..
We along with many others are not affected .."

Regardless of if this happened yesterday or in March, it should serve to remind us that we are all engaging in a hobby which presents a real threat to the freedom and well being of the manufacturers and, to a certain extent I'm sure, the TDs.

I know that the whole supply chain are in this to make money, are aware of the risks and could probably get legitimate jobs if they wanted, however, does anyone really need to be executed to 'protect' a Rolex patent?

We need to remember not to take the factories for granted and whine like little bitches when one numeral is slightly mis-alligned, or there is fluff on the face!

I think the well being of the manufacturers is always at stake. Don't think the health and safety codes of those factories are all that. And neither do I have sympathy with the people behind it. I am however gratefull that they do it.

No, the death penalty is a real possibility in a case like this.

But that is fuckin', mind-bogglingly crazy!

If that is the case I will have to seriously reconsider my engagement in this hobby. Not that I am naive enough to think it would make any difference to what is going on what-so-ever. But it would to me...

I don't think any newspaper will post March news in the middle of June. Even in China.

No, according to a TD the police came out with this new on the 14th. So the press would be only picking up on it now.

It's like drugs raids that are only announced a few months after, so they have the time to track every lead before anouncing.

Luth, from my understanding you know china better than the most of us: What is your assessment of death penalty coming into play in a case like this...?
