Agreed - I'll be willing to overlook the date window issue when they're a bit cheaper
Looking at the video it appears to be a caller GMT without a jump hour. He's able to adjust the 24 hour hand individually, not the 12 hour hand, and it doesn't "lock" to the hour positions so you have to adjust it super precisely. Also has the 24 hour hand at the bottom of the stack instead of the 12 hour as on gen. Looks like an old school cheap gmt movement.

Man it's tough. I love that they used a new true-GMT movement - that seems like a gamechanger that was once only available to Rolex GMT's and VSF worldtimer.Idk, maybe it was hard to fit a DWO in the new movement?
From the SL 3032 images, it looks like this is based off of a2836, now modified to have independent GMT hand. But the hand stack is still wrong - GMT hand at the bottom.
I guess the issue is that the new FXD GMT movement's date position is now different than the standard 2824 position and M+ couldn't make a DWO for the movement.
I think the movement will be great for future non-Rolex GMT watches though.

Ehm, of course it is a true gmt … you can Clearly See that the gmt time would be set Independent … the only „flaw“ in my opinion is the sligtly to yellow markers acc to gen … but it could be the lighting … and the Date alignment … but it is Not so far Off in my opinion … habe seen much worse on zf tudors

idk what to call that movement but i think the independent quick set and independent gmt hand is a hybrid between traveller and office GMT, he didn't really show full function
it fails as a traveller's GMT/true GMT because the traveller GMT means you have jump hour hand that allows for the forward/backward set of the date when travelling through time zone, like 3285 or 3186

That would certainly be the assumption but given the rep is so far off and the reputation of M+ in the FXD realm it seemed reasonable to question it. It wouldn't be the first time a dealer has passed off a rep from a shitter factory as a rep from a better factory. Ever seen a Clean or other factory sticker in a QC pic online that looks like it has been removed and stuck back on a dozen times?+ @Reaps
It's supposed to be from the M+ Factory, didn't know i should've mentoin that in a thread all around the M+ Watch.
Date wheel position I can't unsee. I can't get past the date window position to really look at anything else. Hard pass until it's fixed. Disappointing as I was interested in this one.
