These plating issues of today are so troubling. My BK WM9 Bluesy is 14 years old and is worn with frequency and has never developed any. If they could make watches back then without problems, why can’t they seem to now?

I agree with you. Why can't they make em like they used to? I have a vintage 1969 Bulova oceanography in two tone plated. It's been worn every day for 5 years and I still get compliments on how nice my watch is. It's always mistaken for a rolex date just.
