Any recommendations of a modder on here who can gold dip the 126711 bracelet?

I was wondering the same. Whats the opinion about plating the Clean? It's a must, does it scream Rep, or one can do without it?
I have a full Everose GMT and i've never compared the colour next to a gen in person.
(still waiting for @Fisherman1980 to post his pics hehehe)

I'm happy with the colour on my clean rootbeer

Side-to-side, the Gen rosegold is paler/pinker than any Clean/GMF rep that I've seen. I love my GMF rootbeer - it's maybe my favorite rep ever.

The GMF would would be a super rep with the correct plating color IMO.

Wouldn't be hard to get it rose gold plated

It is. I had to go to an AD to double check (no, I didn't take my rep) and it's a much smoother pink, and less yellowish.

It's even less pink and more metallic than AP gen rosegold, and that's my issue that makes wonder if any platters in RWI have achieved that colour?

Imo it's not worth it if one can get a normal rosegold platting. It will still be noticeable.

I would totally invest platting it. Need pics of results (although I've also noticed that cameras don't really catch the right colour. It's a beautiful low key but baller timepiece

This is one of the few YouTube reviews that catch the right colour at the 40secs mark. Then the lighting changes and goes back to yellowish (which is the CF colour).

Mine is plated - but I've been searching for a plater that gets the color right. Nothing so far.

Mine is flandad plated and I put it next to a gen and the colors were literally spot on.
Really?
Because according to his link https://www.reddit.com/user/Flan_da.../?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3

It's nothing compared with the Gen. Mine is exactly the same colour as his.
here's a Gen pic for comparison.

Mine is the two-tone, and it's hard to tell the color of the rose gold in pictures, but when I put next to my friend's gen two-tone, the colors were the same. I didn't examine under magnification and different lighting situations. We were in a restaurant during the daytime and it looked exact (as far as color).

It won't fade anyway imo. Cleans 'gold' application is rock solid. Polishing cloths don't even move it. It's a lovely colour too.
I don’t think that’s true. I recently read a post on RWI that was describing a Daytona Pikachu from CF after one year of gently use. He posted some pictures too. There was noticeable flaking of the plating. He would not recommend buying plated watches. I will stick with steel until I can get a confirmation that there are watches out there with plating that lasts for years.

I’ve got several watches that were sold as cleans but aren’t. Don’t believe everything you read

If you bought them from a TD, shouldn’t that be an issue in it self? I mean, selling Clean that’s not a Clean? It doesn’t sound like that’s appropriate if the seller has a TD status.
