Sorry mate..the rep has got the hand colour wrong..the gen has silver metallic hands and the rep has black hands..also the zenith star on the dial on the gen is black/grey finished..the Rep has a silver finished star..These two things are a complete turn off IMO..Wonder why the factory could not get such a simple Detail correct??..

I’ve had a thorough look at the gen..the star is definitely not silver finished..and the hands are silver/metallic finish..I mean the skeleton of the hands..the super lime is spot on though in the rep..intact even brighter than the gen..I know it’s a beautiful peice and that’s why people are still buying it inspire of the basic cosmetic flaws..hope someone from the factory reads this to get a more gen like version out..I’m thinking of removing the black coating on my rep hands and painting the star grey/black..will make it close to the gen..anyone thinks it’s possible to do??

Talking of the star, how bad of an alignment would you guys say is acceptable on a rep? I turned down the first qc pics because it was painfully obvious to me and would have bugged me. I have straightened the photo and you can see it here, it is lower on the right hand side.

I was sent a second set of qc, the problem is still there but not as bad:

Would you guys say this second one is ok or should I be a pain and turn it down again?

I bet you will not see bad alignment when you put watch on your wrist. With close-up photos like these flaws are easily seen but from wrist hardy.

I would have not accepted it..but unfortunately was not vigilant enough then to observe this misalignment..mines already been dispatched..will share more upon recieving

Be realistic for f#*@'s sake. It's a replica watch you're paying <$300 for and that's such a minor misalignment you won't even notice it when it's on your arm. If you seek perfection, buy gen. And seriously, you'll look past the other flaws of the watch but reject a QC because a microscopic star is slightly rotated?

Firstly I did the picture on my phone, not photoshop! Secondly us newbs are still paying $300 for something that costs max $50 to make, we can demand quality workmanship. I'm sick of hearing people suggest go buy a gen if your not happy. Thirdly I realised that blowing up a photo to five times its actual size is not a fair indicator of what I will notice in real life so I already approved ther qc.

Well here's a newsflash for you and your demands.

The TD's DO NOT HAVE TO put up with your BS. In no time at all they will refuse to take your order or simply refuse to respond to you.
PLUS they will advise one another ABOUT dealings with you. They also advise one another about scammers and fraudsters all the time.

So good luck being an arrogant ass towards them...

I don't think they can move the star without damaging the dial. I have the 45mm blue dial Zenith and can barely see the star. Just like others have said, what guarantee do you have that the next one won't be worst. Accept and enjoy.

Check- out the videos on Trusty website: the rep's hands are definitely silver finished like gen (you can see it at the beginning of the video). Also if you check videos on youtube of the gen (such as this one: https://youtu.be/wc9Jze9uOyk) you can see that the star is silver finished as well, not black.
