Is not a hugely complicated procedure but you should have some experience disassembling a watch before you attempt. It involves decasing the watch and taking the hands and dial off and removing a transfer gear used to connect the 6 o'clock subdial to the hour gear on the cannon pin (not sure if that is the right terminology)

I would like to know is these réplicas last, if it's better automátic or quartz-battery in this cheap réplicas, because I dont want to spend more than 50$ in my First one.

Another question I have, the model I want oficially has a sphere diameter of 44,25 mm

But I asked the seller and he said the réplica is about 42 mm. I prefer watches with a box of 43 mm or bigger, I Guess I wouldnt mind 42mm but I dont like 40 mm ones. Do the réplicas use to be smaller than the genuines?

Hey all...newbie here...trying to find a speedmaster dark side of the moon black/black rep...yes I know it's highly unlikely and it appears I've jumped in with a difficult watch to source but would REALLY like some help. I've been stung twice now online and joined to maybe give myself a chance of finding one so ANY help would be appreciated!!

Unless there's an entirely new movement, the dial will never be the same

The spacing isn't right with the SeaGull ST1903 movement ("Asian Lemania"), but it's pretty damn close to that of the Speedy Reduced.

The ST1903 is 31.3 mm in diameter and 6.25mm thick. The Reduced is 39x12mm, so I'd think it'd fit.

Is there a Reduced replica with the ST1903 movement? Could an ST1903 movement be put swapped into a Reduced quartz replica?

What's the best rep you can get these days? And is there a big difference between OM and JH factory reps?

Is the reduced available yet?

Finally, does anyone know the main difference between these two (aside from the lack of the word Professional). Anyone have any experience with both:

There is no accurate speedy rep, subdial spacing and function is wrong, instant tell.

I have a dark dide of the moon rep. It was the first "good" rep of this watch. It's made of steel and has a asian 7750 movement wich works good. But the strap doesn't really look good and the glass on the backside broke twice... I think the tension in the glass gets to high if you screw the backcover in to strong. Also the dial and the bezel doesn't look like the genue. The last point is that the watch is very thick and heavy, so i can't wear it on my small wrist.

Yesterday i saw there is a new version out, wich looks much better than mine. It's also made of real ceramic like the genue. It seems that the subdial on 3 o'clock works as genue:

I have this one and I'm very happy with it. I replaced the mat, grey looking bezel with a genue one and I replaced the glass with a non genue spare part. On the pics you can see the differences. I also fixed the 6 o'clock subdial hand. There is also a new rep out with a different dial (Speedmaster Proffessional), but I think everything else is as mine.

Just a question my friend. Refering to the Moonwatch, How many hours aprox. Has the power reserve of the hand winding. And it is presice? Keeps the time? I’m consireding to buy one like this. Thank you.
