its 445/2 and can only be bought through ebay like mine. You have to pay close attention as this reference is also the same for the current ones with 3 positions. Check the pictures on ebay closely to see its the 2 positions version Ex-ki

Alright.

I checked the ETA documentation and found the exact reference to get the 2 crown positions configuration.
It's the 2801-2 movement setting lever spring. Its number is 445/2 like 2824-2 or 2836-2 ones but it's the only one to have 2 crown positions only:

Rare and very hard to find, indeed.

It’s part# 445/1327, readily available from Ofrei

Update: I found this part sold by CousinsUK for 2801 movements. Don't know if it's the one we are searching for.

After almost a full year of not being operational, I finally got the time to rebuild my precious watch. It needed a new movement and I never got one for it. In time I received many broken movements to be used for parts and have now assembled them into 1 working movement.

This one ran very bad, didn't keep time at all. Opened it all up and cleaned it all, only to find that the reason it was running so bad was a broken pivot of the balance.

Plus, the date change mechanism wasn't working properly, screw could not be tightened as it stopped the part from moving. And this wasn't everything, more problems were found as I went a long.

The movement is really really bad one and the only solution is to replace it.

My tip to all, don't bother servicing a SH movement. Replace it with a VR.

Good to know. Where do you source real VR3135? A lot of "blue balance 3135 movement" on AliExpress but which ones are VR, that is the question...

PS: I received my lamp (same model as yours). It is perfect, thanks again!

I source the movements from other members here on rwi and repgeek. You can recognize the Vr version by the gold color of the kif jewel hole.

Ebay have VR movements with free fast shipping from usa for 129$.

Can't beat that.

Alright, thank you Oascom for the info.
I see this sale, it's an ad which appears above organic results. I do not have access to the offer because I am located in France. But there are solutions hehe.

Super Franken daytona build

Movement parts already swapped to Gen previously:
- gen balance bridge
- gen parachrom balance
- gen pallet fork
- gen escape wheel
- gen seconds wheel with spring teeth
- gen chrono clutch
- gen chrono seconds wheel with spring teeth
- gen barrel, mainspring and arbor

Visual changes:
- Gen 116520 dial, green lume
- Gen hands, all 6 of them! Green lume

What's left to do?
- Gen 116520 bezel, on the way
- arf clasp or full bracelet maybe?

So this is the watch I showed a couple of posts ago with the white arf dial. I decided to go super Franken with it instead of the arf dial.

During construction I somehow removed 1 of the stripes at the subdial at 6, at exactly 6 o'clock. I managed to place it back again using a painting brush with just 5 hairs on it and a lot of practice. And then using pegwood to push the paint from the sides to the middle so that it was approx the same thickness as the rest. It looks very good if I say so myself.

You know how much I love to tease you 'LLogixa', but it's so impressive to see how much you've learned - and in such a short period of time! Congrats mate.

Right. so i was just looking at my own pictures and saw that the 5 marker at subdial at 9 and the 55 minutes marker at subdial 6 were also "broken". So i fixed those too :)

EDIT: better pictures

14k solid gold daydate that looked like a canal rep.. Needed some good old brushing to get his MOJO back

Brushed the bracelet and case and gave it some gold colored pushpin instead of the steel it was supplied with
