Not sure if Mark and mine are the same, but they do look identical from the photo and the way the 12 mark is crooked , makes me think they come from the same batch. If so do the N°2 sripes are of the wide style.... (light gives a different feeling in fact)....@Mark1937
Thanks for the photos bro
From the number 2 i like very much that it gives a green hue and that the horizontal lines-gaps of the dial are thinner
But maybe its just the different lighting conditions
Wish I had... SB is still working on it.interesting... Do you have a photo on the watch ?
Looks promising. ;-)Wish I had... SB is still working on it.
What base is this? Insanely good looking piece.

Gen 5711 is infamous of this ridiculously difficult clasp, polishing it too much may cause the clasp to loose and open itself, but I think your measurement is fine.Unrelated to my post above... did anybody else find that they had to sand / polish down the protrusions (don't know what to call these things) on the deployment clasp to get it to come undone a little more easily? Out of the box, it took and unreasonable amount of force to get the buckle to come undone. I hit these things with 1000 grit sand paper and removed about 0.05mm from each side. Then I polished away the sand paper marks with cape cod cloth. It takes less effort now. Did anybody else find that their clasp was very hard to undo out of the box?

Most of them may be valid depending on your tolerance and on which version of gens is your reference.is there an update to the original post considering now bezel thinning, case thinning and crown recession is not needed.
I am looking for a new 5711 from 3K so wanted to know what else is needed other than buff dial, hands and date wheel.
the more you modify it the better it will become, it will become better than gen tbh ....Most of them may be valid depending on your tolerance and on which version of gens is your reference.
